Gates is already at another level where he can make a compliment to the competition and in fact Apple deserves it, they make a good job.
It takes a "big man" to compliment the competition. Could be Gates and his people have something up their sleeve? But unless they're ready to be more innovative, Apple will soon start "stealing" Microsoft customers. If that's so then the competition between the two companies will benefit consumers. It'll be interesting to see how it will go.
Yeah, I have to disagree with Microsoft dying. Just as there are Apple fanatics, there are Microsoft fanatics. I know for myself, I could never leave PCs once I started using OneNote, a program within the Office suite. I hear that they've recently added OneNote to the Apple version of Office, but even still, I don't have a major urge to switch. I truly enjoy Microsoft products and the Zune HD was better than any iPod Apple ever put out, they just had bad marketing.
Too true. Apple Pay, as I've said before, is going to succeed where even Google failed with mobile payments/wallets. Everybody might focus on the iPhone, but Apple offers tons of other hardware and software that can drive sales. I tried Google Wallet the other day and wasn't impressed at all. I'm a little jealous that I can't try out Apple Pay since I just got this new device!
I still use my PC and will not jump ship for apple any time in the near future. I still love the fact that I can tinker with the internal hardware of my desktop. All the bells and whistles of excess apps and online payments don't affect my love for the modification applications of my PC and microsoft.
That's fine and all, but it has nothing to do with Apple Pay. It's not an online payments app. It's a mobile wallet designed to ditch cash and cards for people on the go. AP would ideally be used on an iPhone 5, 5S, 6, and 6 Plus. It's approval with major banks and a large number of retailers is unprecedented as of right now, since Google failed to launch its own Google Wallet a while back with such strong backing. It's a major development for mobile payments.
So anyone can really use Apple Pay regardless of having an Apple or not? No right, so it does make a difference if we are Apple users or not.
If Gates has something its gotta be something big on the corporate level. I think he is no dummy when it comes to the technological market and I think he was honest enough to give Apple a compliment about their work. I mean Apple Inc. has been doing well especially with the Apple Watch in the market.
