Is there a reason NOT to buy Apple Stock? I sure can't think of one.

Paying that much for a iphone I would not be able to afford that I just do not have any employment its just not enough. If the phone is bendable that would entertain me for a bit while having a case of boredom.

There is a huge reason not to buy apple and that is because of how huge it is. If you buy a company with a market cap of $2.5 billion dollars maybe it'll grow a lot to be worth $25 billion and you make 10x your money. However, if you buy apple with its huge market cap of over $500 billion and expect to make a 10x your money probably never going to happen.

That statement is largely inaccurate. There are hardly any consumer uses for pure aluminum. Pure aluminum is suited for chemical and electrical purposes due to its reactivity. Aluminum alloy is used in a lot of tangible consumer products, and there are in fact very strong aluminum alloys. The auto industry have started to make extensive use in aluminum alloys for the manufacturing of car bodies. Ford, Land Rover, Tesla, and especially Jaguar have now been making their car bodies out of aluminum alloy instead of traditional steel because it is lighter and stronger. However, it is more expensive which is why not all car brands are following this trend. GM won't be using all aluminum bodies, but will be use aluminum, steel, and magnesium. Tesla's third model, the one that's supposed to be more affordable and have a bigger market share, also will not use the all-aluminum construction because it is too expensive and they want to keep the price down.

Apple is one of those companies that rarely makes mistakes, so it's a safe investment. I am not seeing any more phones bending in a neat future. :)

But it does leave an open door to other future problems...
If they let the bending phone get past testing, what might happen next? Maybe the iPhone7 will have a battery that overheats and exploded in your pocket...

That's a good point, the iphone6 was tested, retested, sent to market and now what? It bends! Many people haven't done their job properly.

What goes up must come down. One day Apple will have their day. The only question is when. I remember back in the day wondering if there was any reason not to invest in blockbuster, Redbox, blackberry, and other companies that were unexpectedly left behind in the dust.

Right now Apple is still trending and making all the right calls, but don't be fooled into thinking a buy into Apple is risk free! Invest smart, not naive.

Not a single investment is risk free, but at the same time we do know that some companies are way more solid than others.

Think people are making a mountain out of a mole hill with the bending phone issue. Unless you're making a conscious effort to bend the phone it's probably not going to do so. Apple products are pretty well crafted and are of good quality, especially in comparison to a lot of the other phones I've used and seen over the years. Apple is a very solid investment.

Exactly, it's all hype and there really is no substance to it. It's just the mainstream media rehashing the issue because everyone already talks about Apple so that means more ratings for them. Out of the ten million iPhone 6 sold when it initially launched, only nine were reported to have bending issues. 9 units /10,000,000 units sold. Every product manufactured is subject to some defect but this is far, far, below the typical failure rate of any consumer product.

There's no such thing as bad press. As long as people are talking about you it's good. It's when nobody is talking about you that you have to start worrying (Blackberry).
