Jesus Christ, that's horrifying. I'm surprised nobody caught it earlier though, did the previous tenants set that thing up the day they moved out???

I imagine they moved everything out of the house, set the bomb up and left immediately. What a sick and twisted thing to do. They must be absolutely terrified now though - although how they thought forensic scicentists wouldn't discover the cause of the explosion is beyond me.

I guess that's why we are asked to know our tenants at a much deeper level...where they work, who they associate with, who they are...to avoid such heinous acts :(

I can't see how landlords can legitimately ask who their prospective tenants associate with. It's likely to be a reactionary thing - only planted because they were being evicted. All landlords really have to go on is a credit check - police background checks take far too long to be completed - and their instincts.

Holy crap! Tenants from hell? Eh, that is the understatement of the year. Here's hoping they find the tenants, try and convict them, and throw them in a cage for a very long time.

Wow are you freaken kidding me! These people who left that bomb are downright evil. I am glad that the bomb did not explode right in the electricians face.

Am not saying... the landlords to ask whom tenants associate with, for instance where i live, my former neighbor is involved in some bad boy clique behavior and in the process, he was trying to pull the landlord's son in... it just had to stop, and he was evicted, he never asked of this guy's affiliation to that clique but he got wind...believe me missbishi...people talk :)

@Profit5500, am not thinking just about the electrician's face, am thinking, what if it went un-noticed, the landlord gets new tenants and late at night, things go Wham! and bam!...first the landlord would have been blamed, probably go to jail for murders he did not commit, and he has a house destroyed..and neighbors/people get wind of it, protests are held and everyone is running crazy and crying for blood... just mind-boggling!
