Satellite data shows that from 1994 till now there's been no significant warming trend.

If the data indicates that the earth hasn't got all that warmer is global warming a myth?

The article also cites that other offices have conflicting data. It seems that every republican and government office that has strong corporation ties are back pedaling and changing their tunes now that climate change is a big issue. I like most of you here are old enough to remember the weather was like 40 years ago. I think it's safe to say it is getting hotter every year. Go read news reports around the world and people are dying off from heat exposure. Especially in the past few months.

Republicans were once for a change to control climate changes but they are singing different tunes now that that the thought of big companies have to cut back on emissions. Bic corporations pay for their campaign, so it's in their best interest to fall in line.

This idiot tried to prove climate change is a hoax by bringing in a snowball to the senate.

I think humans can change the climate, and are changing the climate.. but I think the earth is big enough, and has so many buffer systems in place that we will never be able to impact it in a meaningful way.

Also, proving or disproving global warming right now is kinda like taking a poll of an election where one candidate is beating another candidate by 2%, but the margin of error of the poll is 5%. Even if we are affecting global temperatures by a small amount, we are still withing the normal range of where the temperatures could be.

People don´t realize that the earth is becoming more stable, and the earth has more feedback and buffer mechanisms that minimize changes in temperature. Thousands of years ago, the average temperature could change 20 degree year to year... now it is down to where 1 degree is a lot.

    Really?
That link is pretty bogus anyways. Link me ONE good site that shows how climate change is not occurring.
Here's a link you should check out

The science overwhelming shows that human activity is having a negative impact on the ecosystem which supports our life.
Hopefully we can reverse the damage before it's too late.

There is no doubt we are changing the climate, but why is it for the worse? Couldn´t it be a 50-50 thing, like.. man, sucks to live in SE Asia, but gotta love the pentiful rainfail and increased crop yields further north and in the middle east. Change you can belive in!

Seems too good to be true. Where I live, I didn't experience anything that would be considered "global warming" just yet, but just like Brandon, I'd also like to have a reliable source so I can thoroughly believe. I know my country isn't the whole world, so... articles or it didn't happen!

Climate change should be everyone's concern. Polar ice caps are melting and from what I gather water chemistry in the ocean will change as well. When that happens sea life is threatened and that is a main source of food supply for the planet. So it need to be addressed as we all need the ocean and it's marine life. So what if a few individuals don't eat fish. majority of the populations does. If that goes then the shift will change to something else. The entire food chain will be disrupted.

I wish this was the case! I live in a place where you might be lucky to get 4 nice warm months out of the 12. The ecosystem is a delicate and interconnected system, you can't just make it warmer without other parts of the system being thrown off. Thing is the planet is fine, it will still be here. It's OUR species that will not be able to handle these new conditions.
Climate change will change things for the worst 99% and better 1%.

The climate doesn't change so rapidly that we can understand it, but if we analyze data and look at the poles for example, we see changes that can dramatically affect the way we live.

One thing I've noticed, as have others, is that global warming hysteria seems to take the place of religion on the left. It's something they believe strongly in. I understand being concerned about the environment. Most folks on the left and the right are concerned about it. The left wants to use this issue to institute more government control over our economy. That's why they are so over the top in their predictions, and why they spew so much hate and vitriol at anyone who dares disagree with them, or those who urge caution on the issue.
