Bernie Sanders is one of the candidates running for president from the democratic side. He want to bridge the gap between rich and poor people and seems to have some good ideas on how to do it. What are your thoughts on him?

He's openly a Socialist and his policy positions reflect that far left perspective. He's 73 which would make him the oldest president ever, if elected. The times I've seen him deliver a speech I couldn't help but think he's a little unhinged. Honestly, it is embarrassing that the DNC's current "fall back" position from Hillary is a little know Marxist who runs as an Independent. ;)

Sanders is a socialist and won't be going anywhere come convention time. That said, he is now leading Hillary in the NH polls and drawing very large crowds on the left coast of the country. Washington, Oregon and California may as well be called the United Socialist States of America. He is certainly making the Hillary camp squirm, adoing to Hillary's self implosion with all the baggage she carries. Makes things interesting, and good for Sanders. I think the better question is when will Biden, or other viable candidate, step forward and tell the Dems enough with HRC's candidacy. Woof!

It is crazy to me how many top democrats are staying out of the race because they think Hillary is unstoppable. 8 years ago at this very time, hardly anyone knew who Obama was. Hillary is going to be a bit like Romney last time.. the early primary states are going to be fickle as hell as they try to find ´anyone but Romney/Hillary´.. I dislike Sander´s opinions and he is horrible at debates, so hopefully he will disappear.

I think the Democratic nominee is someone we never heard of. Hillary is going to lose Iowa ( again) to anyone with a heartbeat, and if that person also wins NH it will be over. Hillary will lose to anyone that is moderate and has a little bit of optimism and newness to him/her. Hillary is not likeable, inspirational and will have a hard time introducing any major plans or ideas. Her entire campaign will be defense. A latino Obama would finish her before Super Tuesday.

Well I think he has some very good ideas, about many things, however, he doesn't have a prayer of being elected as he wants to expand government entitlements and most of the country will not stand for that. Also the idea that he is a "socialist" scares some people. What's in a name I say? Anyway, hopefully he will propel some candidates to the left.

He speaks to me and I agree with his ideas. Free healthcare for everyone, free public college education for everyone, addressing climate change and alternative energy, reinvesting in Americas manufacturing division, and most importantly pulling our troops out of harms way in the Middle East.

These are the issues that I would like our Country to take care of first before we start another War in the Middle East, and put that bill on the credit card again. It seems to me the only ones that will be suffering with these changes that he talks about are the big corporations, pharmaceutical, oil interest, weapons dealers, and China. I hate Obamacare. I want free healthcare.

I would love to see Joe Biden enter into the race, but it does not look like it is going to happen. To be honest, I am not really impressed with any of the candidates right now, so I hope someone strikes my fancy soon.

The fact that folks like Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump are gaining attraction is a bit embarrasing. Shows how far we've fallen as a nation. Sanders a real threat to Hillary in my opinion. Shes just not very likeable or believeable. Shes also out of step with the left wing of her party.

While that sounds nice, it isn't free to those picking up the tab for those things. And those folks are the American taxpayer who are getting financially pummeled at the local, state, and federal level under the current tax system.
