I just published my first book and wrote an article about it. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/3-influences-getting-published-john-rock
Good luck with your book! It certainly sounds like a worthy pursuit. My sister, Jo Saxton, is also in the lay ministry space (I think that's her space - I really should know exactly what she does...), and she's written a few books which I think are more geared towards women in church leadership. I hope the book goes well.
Good for you man! I want to get published someday too I never considered self-publishing before. I write and read a lot these days hopefully I master the art of writing soon.
I always wanted to publish a book when I was younger but I kind of lost interest somewhere along the way. I know how hard it is to actually get the work done so congrats for writing the book to completion and getting it published.
Good luck in your book! A lot of people want to publish a book but just few of them actually make it, I'm glad that you are one of them! I used to write a lot of fiction and poetry a few years ago but I stopped, it started to feel pointless to me...but I think I will try to write again, you never know what is going to happen!
Good luck with the book, I hope it does well for you. Writing a book as never really appealed to me, I don't think I've got the time or the patience to write one anyway, and even if I did I'm not sure if I've got any knowledge that isn't already out there, so I'm guessing it wouldn't be a top sellers anyway.
Mastering the art of writing is not something that I think I have done, but I had a lot of editors on this project. Go ahead and write that book.
Thank you. This was a tough project. The editing and formatting processes took about 75% of the time. It was grueling but now that I've been through it once I am already beginning the new book.
Yes! Write that book. I was voted most likely to be killed in a DUI when I graduated high-school so if I can do it I'm pretty confident everyone can. ;-)
