This is the labor day weekend currently for US (and so for Wall Street), so what happens for the market today, given it doesn't happen so many things on the weekend and this labor day today for all US-related events? I wonder what can we expect from market today. If I have to bet, I would say it will be a calm day where not a lot of things will happen. Markets will basically and monotonically follow the trend of Friday because it seems there's not new elements. However, I think they will be more calm since the 1st China news shock is probably done. There maybe a 2nd shocks but I guess today it will be just calm.
lol, come on, that's a good answer, at the same time things can happen that impact the markets when they reopen.
On Labor Day, the European market Indicies are up about 1% going into the close after Asia markets opened lower. I use Bloomberg to get a quick look at futures and indicies around the world, c.f. http://www.bullmarketboard.com/threads/5967-How-do-you-follow-the-latest-news-on-the-markets
haha I know. BUT I just went back and looked at the data, not much did happen, especially compared to the movements we have seen lately.
You're right. It wasn't that obvious to understand that I knew when you read the thread, but I knew it. Still, my question was relevant to other markets and as you said, not so much activity happened in that time. Well, sometimes you may have to raise hands because of a little +, but then, I won't go here. Still, the labor day passed and it seems without Wall Street, markets are more calm. Does it means that the US market influence is not that good to other countries, or rather that it stimulates the other markets as well, because many exchanges happens in the US market place?
