Are you looking forward to the Fall and the cooler temps? I certainly am. I hate the Summer weather here in Central Virginia. It has been a pretty miserable summer. Most of the year is pretty good around here. The Summer you can have it! Bring on the cool!!
What do you mean by miserable? My summer so far has consisted of rain, cloudy skies and cold wind. What a "summer" haha The weather is pretty much like this all year round here, so I can't really say I'm surprised.
The older I get, the more I look forward to the fall. I'm not far from Houston, and it's brutally hot and humid much of the year. Our "winters" are usually quite short and mild, although it does occasionally get a little below freezing here and there. And with the humidity, the lower temps are also colder than the "dry cold" much of the country gets during the winter. I have always loved the beach and pool season... but as I get older, I'm glad to get some relief from the humid high temps for a few months.
Falls where I live are basically just summer days. It does not get cold here until around the winter, which sucks because fall is my favorite season. Boston in the fall is the best thing ever. I want fall like that.
No! I don't mind cool weather but it often comes with rain and later on snow etc. Just let me keep warm and enjoy the sun!
We had an unusually hot summer this year, so I am absolutely looking forward to cooler weather. I love the fall because it feels so fresh and I can really get into the groove of baking.
I like the cooler temps. It's raining non-stop in my area and my mood's gotten cheerier. Hot weather is for hotheads I say. Bring on the sweater weather!
Where I live we haven't had much of a summer anyway so the fall and winter won't be much different than the spring and summer unfortunately. People seem to have a romantic vision about how a fall should be, but I'm more of a warm weather personn so don't see the appeal to be honest.
I'm looking forward to cooling off as well, and getting outdoors to fish and camp. They're about to start stocking trout in the area where I live once the weather cools down a bit more. Then it's time to get my fish on!
