LOL that first tweet, and the "Adam and Eve" tweet got me going. Thanks for posting that, definitely needed that laugh.

    Some people...

People are welcome to believe whatever they want, but I do find it strange, and frankly a little disturbing, that some are so hostile to science. And having a tizzy fit about a Google doodle? "Lighten up, Francis."

Sitting here SMH...people never cease to amaze me at time. I guess people have nothing better to do in their lives
but complain. People can believe what they want but they need to learn how to relax and not take everything so seriously.
It is what it is..get over it! lmao!

People can believe what ever they want to believe, but it also works both ways...

That last Tweet was just ridiculous. Evolution has been pretty much proven yet she still calls it a lie. Quite funny really.

It does make you wonder just how many tweets are actually what people think, or are they just looking for some attention themselves?

You'd have thought that surely there can't be that many dumb people in the world, then you read something like that and think...You know what? Maybe there is...

Reading Tweets like that kinda makes you lose faith in humanity just that little bit. But then I do wonder how many of these Tweets are actually legit and not someone just fooling around. Then again, as you say, they could just be looking for attention, and going about it all wrong.

Not sure whether to describe myself as a "creationist" who accepts evolution, or an "evolutionist" who accepts creation. I long ago came to the conclusion that our universe was intelligently created, and that our little corner of it is quite dynamic and ever-changing. I'm very glad the creator was wise enough to create living things ( including us ) which are capable of adapting to these changes through a process we call "evolution"; otherwise, we would have vanished from the scene long ago.
Evolution and intelligent creation are not mutually exclusive.

Indeed, they are not. There are some that hold varying degrees of theistic evolution, believing that big bang cosmology and evolution can be harmonized with a creator God. Young Earth Creationism (YEC) is, however, completely indefensible from a scientific standpoint.
