"The depressing takeaway of the Aereo decision"

Whats your opinion on this, do you think that the supreme court has hindered the advances in how T.V could possibly be watched in the future or do you think it is only to protect the money earned by the businesses.

Well, I think the problem is much bigger than that. Aereo probably should be treated like a cable company. The biggest problem is the fact that we can not break out of the cable TV package. Why do we have to pay for 100 something channels for just 1 channel - or maybe just one show on that one channel! At the same time, the companies that produce cable TV, control the internet service too. So they have the ability to cap your bandwidth so you can't watch TV online!

They are quite wrong to think that it is good for me and the rest of us. The best thing for the government to do is to stop trying to control every aspect of how we view television. That is outrageous. I can't believe that is what they want for us. Aren't they supposed to be protecting us?

I think that the government should have a gag on them. I mean come on already do we have to sink our teeth into the failure apple. I don't want to go off topic, but I believe that the people are losing more of his and her civil liberties. We need to put a serious end to this anti television movement that the government is drawn to. I think that Aereo was just doing what they feel was justified as a legitimate business. If Aereo were to be held accountable, then I would had to contain some sort of evidence like pirating copyrighted material. The government needs to grow up and find a more suitable issue to combat like unemployment in our country.

How doesn't combating unemployment line politicians pockets? Too bad everyone votes for crooks!

Intellectual property and competition should be protected, and harm and fraud should be prevented whenever possible and punished. Otherwise there is no need for govt interference.

Whatever it is the supreme court is trying to do, it does not matter ,because $150 is slightly on the higher side ,compared to the way the economy is going.
