This is a little log of the changes that happen in the forum, this wont be continuous ( unless members see it as beneficial ) however will give some insights to things which change slightly since the New ownership of the forum

    01/05/2016 - Section Changes

Moved politics and religious sections into their own category for further assessment/regulation. Moving the off topic , Introduction forums into a new category along with the new Forum News and Feedback section which will be for our announcements and progression discussion.

    01/05/2016 - Navigation Changes

Removed "Whats new?" tab which leads to a clunky activity log which is pretty unappealing and confusing when simply looking for new topics, Added "NEW POSTS" tab which gives a run down of the new posts since a member last logged in. Added "Todays posts" which gives ALL posts from that current day regardless of previous logins.

    01/05/2016 - Added additional Pages

Added revised privacy policy, Added new Terms of services, Added Forum Rules ( All of which are subject to change as the forum progresses )

    01/05/2016 - Corrected Site emails

Site emails are now distributed via Sparkpost and are marked as from the main forum email address, contact form is also directed to the main email account which is now monitored and emails will be responded to.

    01/05/2016 - Added Tapatalk Back.

Although I dislike Tapatalk, some members like it and providing its managed correctly I don't mind retesting its usage, if it doesnt get used It will be removed upon our platform change in a couple of months.

    01/05/2016 - Updated queries

For members to receive emails when PM's are sent, this is defaulted . If members which to change that setting again they can do so via their options.

    01/05/2016 - Template adjustments

Corrected and removed un-needed code in templates.

    01/05/2016 - Advertising

    Changed advertising positions slightly.

    01/05/2016 - Stopped Automated Feeds

I have stopped all automated feeds from the major editoral providers until we can establish what is junk and what has real member interest and how we can display it correctly.

    01/05/2016 - Sidebar block changes

Remove some sections of the forum from displaying in the sidebar recent posts/threads, Removing the flooding of auto generated posts so that real user posts can be seen easier.

01/05/2016 - Created Facebook and Google + Official pages ( not currently live ).

these will be the ONLY pages affiliated with the work we do here, 3rd party profiles can be reported via the contact form and we will try and take them down/stop their feed.

    01/05/2016 - section renames + additions

Renamed a couple of sections to more specific and broad terms, added indices forum.

    04/05/2016 - Inflated Stats corrected .

Reduced over exaggerated "users online" stats, stats now show users active in the last hour instead of active instead of hugely increased stats.

I've always wondered at those stats. So it was a technical issue. Thanks for the update.

Not so much a technical issue, but extended statistic gathering times. So previously when a user/visitor was considered to be "online" it was set to over 24 hours, where as i prefer to see users active in the last 15 or 45 mins. Since we are not too active we'll leave it at 45 mins but as we grow *tough wood* i will decrease the timings. Also with our platform switch in a couple of months the natural time holding is around 15 mins so it will be even more accurate at that point.
