Well, this is the cocktail lounge after all, why not discuss some cocktails. Personally, its pretty rare that I imbibe these days, but I do like a good gin and tonic (with a twist of lime) or, should the mood strike, a scotch and soda. Years back, I did the Martini thing, but not so much these days unless I'm traveling, which is rare any more.

What are your favorite mixed drinks to help unwind after a long day? Cheers!

I very rarely drink mixed drinks. When it comes to alcohol I enjoy beer, red wine and whiskey but drink them like that. Sometimes I might add some coca-cola to the whiskey, but this is only in the case where it's some cheap whiskey which they have in most bars... at home I have quality ones so mixing anything in there would be a shame.
One mixed drink I enjoy once in a while is vodka + redbull, but like I said it's quite rare.

4 oz Crown Royal and 16 oz Diet Coke over lots of ice in a very large cup.
Or the same amounts of vodka and Diet Mt Dew over ice also.

I'm not that big on mixed drinks anymore but if I were to have something it would involve Jack Daniels and sipping slowly. Generally I like to kick back with beer or wine but on occasion I will try something stronger.

My favorite is a blend of Vodka, orange juice, and blueberry lemonade. It is delicious and you don't get dehydrated or a hangover.

Rum and coke is definitely my favorite. I live in Taiwan now. It is interesting that many of the Taiwanese have never heard of this beautiful drink:) However, I don't drink it very often now. The hangover is too much.

I never tried that drink Rosyrain. It sounds a little bit on the sweet side for me. Vodka gives me a terrible hangover. I still might give it a try tonight:)

Just a beer for me. Simple, and classic. :)

You can't go wrong with beer Franco. What are some of your favorites? I have been in Taiwan for an extended period of time. I really miss Blue Moon.
