    I see the issue is nowhere near a cease-fire...is this the precipice of WW3?

    Some are suggesting it is. I hope they are completely wrong but I can't fault the logic in this Op Ed.

    I felt it early on. It just doesn't make sense to me, other than trying to justify a 'first strike' scenario. Immediately I saw the Times massive headline about "Swaggering Putin".... I thought of the "Swaggering Hun" headlines that preceded the onset of war.
