KUALA LUMPUR: INTELLIGENCE analysts in the United States had already concluded that Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 was shot down by an air-to-air missile, and that the Ukrainian government had had something to do with it.

This corroborates an emerging theory postulated by local investigators that the Boeing 777-200 was crippled by an air-to-air missile and finished off with cannon fire from a fighter that had been shadowing it as it plummeted to earth.
In a damning report dated Aug 3, headlined “Flight 17 Shoot-Down Scenario Shifts”, Associated Press reporter Robert Parry said “some US intelligence sources had concluded that the rebels and Russia were likely not at fault and that it appears Ukrainian government forces were to blame”.

The UN Security Council failed to adopt a resolution on reinstating the ceasefire at the site of the Malaysian Airlines plane crash in eastern Ukraine after Russia’s draft was blocked by Western states.
“Unfortunately, some UNSC members have reacted in their usual way as they oppose any criticism of the Ukrainian leadership,” Churkin said, adding that Lithuania, the US, and Australia began proposing inappropriate amendments to the text.
“A few countries – such as Lithuania and the US – started to suggest amendments, saying that [Russia’s] draft lacks criticism towards the people they call ‘separatists’,” Churkin added.
The countries that rejected Russia’s draft resolution to the UNSC “are responsible for the endless bloodshed in the southeast of Ukraine” as they are indulging Kiev, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Well I hope not because otherwise we are all doomed (unless you have a nuclear bomb shelter to hide in)

What I find so worrying is this non stop hate campaign against Russia/Putin by Washington and the media. Everyone knows that sanctions normally precede actual wars. They are a type of warfare in themselves.

I am reminded of the John Lennon quote "Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I am liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it"

The other one I like is: "If everyone demanded peace, instead of another television set; there would be peace"

Russia has been a rock solid trading partner, even during the Cold War. Equitable trade is the basis for peace. Undermining that trade undermines the peace.

So the truth finally sets the folks free well its had to come out some point and time. I kinda thought that Ukraine had some dirty laundry they had to air out. So their government had an air to air missile and shot down the MH17 wow no wonder their people were fleeing to Russia.

The Media just buries it now. Hype up a load of BS allegations as 'facts', start Cold War2 which could easily lead to the final countdown and then just drop it all when it starts getting embarrassing and the evidence starts mounting that it was Washington backed fascist government that likely did it. And if that is true that it was shot down by Ukrainian airforce jets up close and personal, that would be politically a thousand times worse than an inexperienced militia fighter accidentally shooting it down.

So where is all this 'intel'. Washington spends enough taxpayer dollars on spying on the world. Where are the satellite images... the logs and recordings from the air traffic control which the Ukrainian secret police seized directly and have never seen the light of day since.

Ukrainian attempts to destroy evidence at the crash site testify to the same thing. Since MH17 was downed, Ukrainian troops continued military operations in and around the crash site, including shelling areas where debris lay. This in spite of the fact there was no military infrastructure or rebel roadblocks in the area.
