Do any of you watch reality shows that are based on the real estate market, like buying and selling property, fixing up properties to sell, the lives of real estate agents?

I sometimes watch them. I'm not into the reality show craze. But I do find some these shows informative when it comes to understanding the market. What about you?

I haven't seen any. I don't think they are aired where I live. I'm quite interested to watch them though. Could you share some names of good real estate reality shows? I'm thinking of downloading them. :)

I have seen a few of them in the past... but we realized two years ago that no one here was watching TV any longer and got the cable turned off. No one misses it at all... it was a little surprising, but I'm glad. :)

Now if those kinds of shows would be on YouTube (I've never looked, I'm sure they are, now that I think of it!) it's the type of thing I'd most likely enjoy.

I've never watched any show like this, unless you consider Extreme makeover Home Edition, I guess it qualifies :)
What other shows are there? Especially the one you say follows real estate agents around.

I don't watch them often, but I do pick up a small tip or 2 whenever I do. Here are some that I've watched before...

Flip That House (TLC)
House Hunters (HGTV)
Designed to Sell (HGTV)
Million Dollar Listing -- NY, LA, Miami (Bravo)
Flipping Out (Bravo)

I'm not sure how informative Flipping Out is anymore. I used to watch it a few years ago. But then the market dropped and he ended up changing the focus a bit. Either way, it still revolves around real-estate.

Yes, that would be cool! I don't have enough time to keep up with these shows. I just watch them whenever I happen to be watching tv and nothing else good is on. But if they were online, maybe I'd watch more...

There's one that I catch once in a while that I can't think of the name of. I will watch sometimes because the lady on the show is quite hot. :)

I have never watched any of them , I might just do so to see how far they go and what I can learn from them.

After thinking about Kate's comment, I spent this weekend surfing YouTube for real estate shows. I saw a HouseHunter International episode filmed in Scotland. I also found some videos that house flippers made resembling the tv versions.

I also found Flipping Out, season 1. Woohoo!!! :D

I have watched a few episodes of the show "House Hunters" and their international version. Some of these people who are anxious in buying a house don't know the reality of getting one. I sometimes feel bad for the realtor trying to explain to the buyers about the market and having to make a compromise.
