According to Reuters, the recent increase in migrant children from Central America across the U.S. Border sort of ease a bit. The numbers are still high when judging by historical standards and there's a possibility for it to rise again once the weather becomes cooler. According to White House Spokesman Josh Earnest, when we enter fall/winter season the rates for those who attempt to enter America illegally will increase again. Does this count illegals crossing the border. If it does I hardly think it is decreasing . Legal immigration maybe. I don't know how they can monitor something like this when immigrants are illegal and they can't do a head count.
I've read somewhere that they can sort of track this information, by analysing the money being spent in food and stuff like that. It makes sense... I guess rates being higher in the winter makes sense... You don't want to be walking for hours in a desert in the summer, right? I wish I could go to the US or Canada
...and how do they know how many are coming in if they are doing it illegal? The drop in tax revenue from employers hiring illegally...
I don't believe the White House is right on the rate of immigrants coming here decreasing. As soon as I opened the link to the article I got some sort of message saying the site has some sort of phishing attack reported. That is a bummer but in my opinion the migration of the Central America or Mexico has not decreased but it remains constant. You have newer immigrants every day coming to America looking to live the American life.
Earnest is not earnest at all. I wouldn't believe him if he told me the sky was blue and the grass was green. His job is to spin, distort, and propagandize for the admin.
I believe that maybe legal immigration may be decreasing, but I doubt the amount of illegal immigrants in the united states has decreased at all, if not increased!
I hope this is true. I hope we are sending a message to foreigners that our borders are no longer open for illegal immigration. I think we need to ask Texan ranchers who live on the border if they have seen a decrease in illegals trying to cross their land or their neighbors' lands.
Yea I mean you could crunch a bunch of numbers and get a value of how many illegals are potentially coming into the country. But how many over stay their visas and I don't know about tracking them with money or food when they can easily go on welfare or stay at a family member's house.
In my country there is a group of people who migrate with their cattle to find pasture when there is a drought in their region. You will find them in the big cities driving their cattle into the traffic. It may look like immigration has decreased; this is just for a season. As long as there is better pasture in your region, they are those who will do everything in their power to get to the land flowing with milk and honey.
