When I was a teenager, I had a problem relating with my mom. Now that I am grown, we get along fine as long as I live far away from her. Last December I moved back home due to financial woes, she broke my heart. How do you relate with your parents?

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that you still had problems with your mom after moving back. Are you still there?

I have the greatest parents in the world... always have been. There were a few of those normal teen/mom issues for me, but they disappeared when I turned 20 and got an apartment. Never a problem since, and in retrospect, even those things weren't big or bad.. just seemed that way to a teenager.

Now that I am away from her, we talk on the phone and I can say that the relationship is cordial. She invited me to go home in October and I still have reservations about it. I still see her face in my mind’s eye when we had those arguments while I was living under her roof. Your parents sound like great people.

I kinda have a rocky relationship with my parents and siblings. I am not very close to them. I tend to be more on the side of them.

A horrible one. My dad just recently got me kicked out and my mom takes his side and then apologizes to me and buys me stuff to make up for it. It's freaking ridiculous. Also, they are one step below hoarders.

When I was younger I also had a problem with my mom, well both of my parents actually. It's been about five years that have passed by since then, and I'm proud to say that our relationships with between each other have drastically improved! I really enjoy hanging out with my parents whenever I can, and I hope that we stay happy like we are right now. :)

I have a good relationship with both of my parents and I get along well since I still live with them, however I am moving the next summer away because of my studies. I think that my dad is the greatest person ever since he has always supported me financially and has taught many useful life skills.
