I don't believe Republicans could ever be pushed toward a Libertarian direction. The Republicans seem to be so split, and they even finger point amongst each other. I do not necessarily know if socialism would be a bad thing, if these nuts could do it the correct way. But it seems anything the government touches withers and dies. Then it gets resurrected again when they put us in another $1 Trillion in debt.

I tend to vote Democrat. But really, I'm not loyal to any party. I just want to hear about solutions. I know the problems. I know they know the problems. So, it's time to hear about solutions. And I especially want to hear about solutions that will allow our country and the people to progress. So, yah, with all that said, I will be voting ;) and yah, i'm still up in the air for who i'll be voting for.

My mother grabbed her heart when I told her I was an Independent. She votes straight democrat but has no idea what that means. I visited her and saw her watching Fox news. She said she really liked the one anchor. So i said, "I never thought I would ever see you watching a Republican!" She got so upset, she set the cable box lock for kids on the channel.

Went out to vote earlier this morning. There was a decent, steady crowd there. Got in and out in about ten minutes though. Cast my ballot for the Republican Party and vote affirmative on a couple of constitutional amendments in my state. Hopefully things turn out well for the GOP tonight.

I had 15 Amendments to wade through, and all but 3 of them were for expanding govt and increasing taxes one way or another - I voted "no" on all 12.

2 of the amendments were for reducing property taxes for veterans and disabled, and I did vote in favor of those.

It looks like an all out rout of the Dems in the midterm election cycle. GOP now has solid majorities in both the House and Senate. Now that they have it, lets see what they can do with it. ;)

Hopefully we see the new Republican majority put Obama on the defensive. They should start by forcing Democrats to vote against bills that have a majority of the American people's support. Things like the Keystone Pipeline, tax cuts, energy production and repealing the worst parts of ObamaCare. Not only will it be good policy, but good politics as well.

Another two years for the government to do nothing. All these games political parties play end up hurting the American people. While some say we Republicans blocked A, B or C, fact is everyone loses. Such displays of power or the lack of it will keep us going round in circles and never making any progress. And the elite look at that and pat each other on the back — because they've succeeded in making us blame the wrong people when we should take the blame ourselves and do something about changing the political landscape by electing only those who deserve to be elected.

Yes yes, it's the total government right. Not just one team. How can we grow as a society if everything has to be one-side. They both suck, both the parties. We're not to far behind in China now. They have a rich class, a growing middle class, and a very poor class. Their government suppressing free speech, spies on them, and will kill people or lock them up for life to silence powerful enemies of the state. This sounds just like the country that doesn't have a communist government.
