Hello all, I would like us to have a discussion on taxation when it comes to the Real Estate Industry, where I currently reside, there are taxes imposed on real estate transactions, more specifically, buying and selling Real Estate, there is really no tax on renting, I believe tax is only applied here when a Real Estate Agent is hired. So my question to begin the discussion is, does anyone here live in a country where they are no taxes on real estate transactions?

That's a good question I'm interested to see some answers from people. I'm sure there is a country, but you never know.

Tax free sounds like a place of paradise if you play your cards right lol. I cannot think of any places tax free in the housing market. You would really have to look that one up.

Not that I am aware of, I think that taxes is something that exist in every single country, the governments always want to charge us when we are making the economy grow.

From my knowledge there is no tax free zone anywhere in the world unless your in the part of the Amazon where no man of technology will venture, lol. Seriously! The governments in all countries have taken the time to ensure they have a handle on everyone's money. The primary question that this question poses to me is is there a way they could incorporate a one time huge tax amount so you don't have to pay each year. I know that seems to be alot to ask but would you pay a one time lump sum at the value of 1/4th the value of your home at the time of purchase so you don't have to pay property tax ever again? I would.

I have discovered that there is an organization in my region that is helping citizens afford homes. They buy large patches of land to build homes. People who are in the low income class can invest the little money they get until it is enough to purchase a home. These homes are in sizes that most people can afford. If someone changes their mind about buying a home, the saved funds are given back. No taxes are imposed.

There are two things in life that are certain: death and taxes.
That being said, I can imagine there being a country or two (something like the vatican? :D) where this isn't taxed.

Haha, of all the countries in the word you had to pick the Vatican? If any country will tax, the Vatican has to be among them, they are a money making machine.

I am sure that all over the world people are having quite a lot trouble buying and selling land due to increase in tax rates. Tax rates have increased over the years and living in place like this is quite difficult.
