I grew up in a family where we do not give gifts. Maybe it is because I grew up in the village. Therefore I am not worried about Christmas shopping. When I get some money I will buy an iron box or something else that I will need in the house. God willing, I will be sharing the Christmas celebrations with some very special children. Everything will be catered for and I am expected to come just as I am. It must be so exciting to go shopping for Christmas.

I'll be stuck working far away from home until early 2015. So no need to do any Christmas shopping this year! Ohh how I've been blessed. :D
That being said, in my family we do very little Christmas shopping anyway since we have agreed not to get gifts for adults. We see it as pretty much pointless... hard to find the right gift and often gifts end up as a waste of money. Also this way we can spend more on food & drinks and for the childrens' presents!

Finished here except for a few gift cards I still need to pick up. No rush on those, though. I always try to be finished by Thanksgiving so that I can enjoy the month of December without the stress of still having to shop.

Actually I'm not only finished shopping, but I'm working on finishing up the wrapping this week as well. :)

We low-key it on Christmas presents every year. The family has a gift exchange, so we each have one person to buy a gift for. My wife and I exchange a single gift and we don't go nuts on the kid (soon to be kids) either. So, its easy to get the shopping done early on. I also send some small things to coworkers, but its normally handled on the web. So, yes, we're essentially done already because there wasn't much to do.

I buy gifts throughout the year so for me, most of my Christmas shopping is already done. I may have to buy a few extras as the need arises but normally I don't do my Christmas shopping after 21st December. I hate the crowds . . .

I've saved up some points at reward sites for gift cards. So I will be cashing most of those in to get some trucks and LEGO sets for my nephews.

I am all but done with it at this point. Most of my deliveries from Amazon were done in 3 business days since I have Amazon Prime.

I think I am not buying a single thing this year in the regular shops, my wife will do most of the shoppings oh oh oh (eh eh) and I will buy some other stuff online. Great!
