Yes, even I agree that it is good to keep a backup of all your contacts at regular times. This can be greatly useful when your phone gets damaged. I think it is best to try and understand everything about the backup facilities to do a complete backup of your phone.
I always keep numbers, purely because if I was to get a call from a number that I didn't recognise I wouldn't know what was going on and I much prefer having the name there. I feel more comfortable knowing where a call is coming from. Completely agree with you, OP.
Yes...i do keep phone numbers/contacts...including those of enemies and traitors as well, when karma comes to visit i must have them with me to hand over {wicked wink and smile}...i believe its important to save phone contacts...they might just come in handy
I always keep phone numbers. It's true, you really never know when you might need the number again. I have so many contacts in my phone, however it does no harm to keep them. You know what they say, keep your friends close but your enemies closer! Haha ;P
I have a bad habit of completely deleting numbers from my phone once I lose contact with people. There have been plenty of times where I've caught myself regretting it. There are times when I miss some of the people I've lost contact with. I'm going to try and do better in the future.

I never keep phone numbers. The numbers of people I'd take the trouble to call, I've memorized. So for me, when someone gives me their number, out of courtesy I save it on my phone but I end up deleting those numbers anyway because I don't need most of those people.
Wow, Rainman, do you have a small amount of numbers or do you have a big memory? I think that it's always good to keep contacts, we never know if we will need them later.
