I just read that the ad that Nationwide Insurance ran during the Superbowl was a real bummer. I guess the tweets said it all. I watched the ad expecting to find out that it was in terrible taste or something and well....it seemed to be just a typical ad. What's the hub bub all about anyway? What do you think? Here it is if you didn't see it. Selling insurance on preventable things like your kid dying? It's INSURANCE people what were they suppose to talk about?

Well to be honest I thought most of the superbowl adds were flops. It's superbowl, the adds are supposed to be funny! There were some good ones this year too but damn, half of them were SAD adds... or some sort of "regular" ones that you would expect to see during the commercial break of a soap opera. Gone are the days when the majority of superbowl adds made me crack up!

As for the nationwide one... yeah I don't see anything wrong with it. Except that as I said above, superbowl adds are supposed to be different!

When I saw this ad during the big game I just teared up. I didn't like this commercial at all. It was a bit too serious I thought. It was extremely sad... what happened to the light-hearted, silly ads?!
