Probably you've read this story somewhere. It's all over the net. A commuter going somewhere for a job interview angry that the man in front of him was obstructing his way in a very ungentlemanly manner told the perceived offender to go *f* himself. But to his horror, he found out the man he'd insulted was his "interviewer." He didn't get the job. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2960791/Commuter-swears-man-way-interview-man-recruiter.html Moral of the story? Don't insult any strangers. You never know if you'll meet that person again elsewhere . . .
Yeah, I've heard variations of that same story for many years. I try to be reasonably polite and respectful to everyone.
They always say that karma will come back and bite you in the butt and here is a prime example of that! I always try to be nice to people unless they give me a reason not too. I am super glad that I don't have to use public transportation of any kind on a daily basis. I bet you run into more than your fair share of rude people there.
The version i have heard of, is a lady cursing at another lady down the street...few months later the lady with the 'huge bucket mouth' shows up at the lady's house {the one she abused} with the lady's brother in tow...for introduction and marriage blessings to follow...i guess no wedding took place...why does karma act so fast in some instances and some it takes like forever?!...i'll wait it out though, as long as i gave out the addresses i need not fret
Haha, I don't really think that's a true story to be perfectly honest. I get the moral of the story is be nice to everyone you meet until they show that they're disrespectful/rude etc. My favorite *true* story is the one where Einstein proves to his teacher that there IS a God or something similar
Politeness/being civil doesn't cost a thing. What I never can understand is why some people think there is this special "class" of people they'll treat with respect and the riff-raff who don't deserve any respect [to be accorded to them]. Good thing though some of these actions tend to boomerang . . .
I don't lose my temper very often, so I'm not really worried about a situation like that happening to me. It does seem like life throws curve balls and adversity at you when you can least afford it, though. I've definitely had that happen to me at multiple points in my life. You've just got to keep striving and doing your best at all times. If not, karma can and will catch up to you.
yeah for sure, sometimes you're just in a horrible mood and something will just tip it over. You can't really be expected to stay calm and composed 24/7 all the time. Stories like these annoy me more than anything. Like, if the guy wasn't his interviewer, it'd be okay to be rude???
...you are absolutely right...just a whiff a way...taking stride...nearing someone's door as we speak
