If you go to www.sharebuilder.com/bonus600 you might be able to grab yourself up to a $600 bonus. You have to read the fine print at the bottom of the page to find out the details. They have requirements for both new and existing share builder accounts. I like the layout of sharebuilder.com vs. some of the other brokerage accounts. I often use share builder for researching stocks. It seems fairly intuitive to me.

Is this site 100% legit? Could you elaborate a little bit on it? I don't know, it just seems a bit sketchy

Nothing sketchy about it. Larger deposit = larger bonus. If you take a look at the numbers you will see that they are not just handing out money, they are trying to lure in new customers.

Sharebuilder is a legit company. I used them a bit years ago before moving on to other offerings.

I've personally never used them but others seem to think it's ok. Like I said it's just a trick to lure in new customers, a lot of brokerage firms have similar offers.

I have never heard about them before but like I always do I will be doing a bit of research and see if I can find out anything more about them before I go making deposits with. This is something that you should always do when you are thinking about going with someone you should just conduct a bit of research before you go all in.

That is a good way to go about anything money related. Whether it's investing, online payment processors or anything else where real cash is involved: you better do some proper research so you don't get fooled. It's truly a shame to see how a lot of people get scammed in the internet nowadays so it does pay to be careful.

They are definitely a legitimate company. I think if one digs around a bit at www.bankrate.com one can find where they rate different brokerage accounts. I used to have an account with them, but have since moved on to another brokerage account.

With regard to the promotion they currently have, as others have pointed out here, one must always read the fine print to get all the details. There's ALWAYS fine print to read when dealing with brokerage accounts!
