    I prefer Facebook because with Twitter you are limited with what you can post. There are advantages to each, you can contact anyone on Twitter somehow, but on Facebook some don't allow posts or messages. I have privacy set on my Facebook and Twitter for my personal accounts and they are open for my work based accounts. The important thing is to let them work for you.

    That's what irritates me about Twitter {limit on words to post}...hence the need to be creative in that regard, as for facebook, i must say am having a love-hate relationship right now...lets see whether it will change for the better {love-love relationship}

    Twitter and tumblr. I don't use facebook anymore because it always gives me a headache. I use twitter and tumblr everday but I don't post much, I just need some information of the world and other things that I like.

    I spend endless hours on Facebook, and I'm currently considering switching either to another less-addictive social platform, or cease using any.

    I really only use Facebook due to social pressure from coworkers and family members. The website has everything I would ever need, but I have never been a fan of social media sites in general. I generally communicate with really close friends via Whatsapp or just in person.

    Facebook was the drug of choice for awhile. But I have moved away from it because of the lack of privacy and lurkers that want to take you pictures. Sure you can hide your pictures but what I notice is that friends of your facebook friends will look over each other shoulders and ask questions and get your personal info. So I had to take a step back from all of that.

    Good luck there. They are all pretty much equally addictive.

    Now that you've mentioned Whatsapp... i wanted in but then due to certain private issues in my life...my friend warned against it...i guess i have no regrets.. i have Facebook, Tsu and Twitter and i have a lot of work to do online... it'd require alot of muscle to keep tabs on all of social media and working online and being sane offline...sometimes its good to shut off all this 'madness' and sit somewhere quiet and keep calm...don't you agree?
