No, for fine products I would rather make my purchase in hand then online.

I probably wouldn't truly consider buying expensive stuff online, not only Rolex. There are a lot of fakes out there, and you'd come off better if you simply did your stuffous shoppings offline. This is what I do, personally. Better prevent than cure!

I wouldn't buy anything too expensive online myself.

I bought my Rolie new for a pretty good price from a nearby jeweler. I'd never buy a used watch myself - just not something I'd feel comfortable wearing.

I wouldn't buy that in the first place, but if I could of afford it, NO. Anything that expensive and has to be tried on first hand and in person to see if it looks good on you, and it fits right.

I wouldn't buy a Rolex ever. Why do I need to spend 60K to know what time it is? Or is it just to impress other people? Either way that's a big waste of money to me. I don;t get enjoyment out of having jewlery. To each his own though.
I'm with Admin, I could pick up a dream bike (S1000RR) and pay the insurance for a couple years on that much money and still have some fund money leftover for craft beer.

I don't buy anything from Amazon. Local brick-and-mortar retailers match Amazon prices.

Had I known this earlier . . . but next time I go shopping Ill look up the price of anything I intend to buy on Amazon and ask the retailers if they can match the price. The money I'd save on [phantom] shipping fees . . .

That being said, I only buy a few cheap things online— Ebooks, used DVDS, etc. Anything that costs over $20 I'll get it in a local store.
