It's hard to tell. There's no evidence, but can we prove it doesn't exist by ourselves? Just because we didn't personally see it, doesn't mean its existence is fantasy. I'm more leaned toward saying it doesn't exist, but I can't be sure of it. Until that time of certitude comes, I'm agnostic.

There is no evidence about hell and heaven. The bible says that if you have done good things, you will go to heaven. If during your living, you've done bad things, then you will go to hell. There are also some that would believe that dead will rise from death and have new life.
However beliefs after death varies by religion.

I personally feel that we make our own heaven or hell. How many people do we know that live a living hell? So that's right, we need to wise up and try to live a better life or else it's living hell indeed.

For those of you who believe in the existence of hell, where would you say it is? On earth as some people believe or somewhere in the universe?

Hell was created as a place where spiritual beings who'd rebelled against God would be punished. It was created long before Adam was created. And since nothing that's tangible can harm a spiritual being then hell itself has to be of a spiritual nature. That's why there never can be evidence of hell's existence. Those who don't believe in its existence find out soon enough after they die.

There isnt a shed of evidence of anything. Christianity is flawed because there are so many missing things from the bible that it doesn't make sense. if you notice people believe in Christianity because somebody else influenced them to. Not the bible or anythings else. Not saying there isnt a God because it has to be a higher being but I feel like there is a missing part to the story. Native Americans and African Americans didn't know anythings about Christianity until the Europeans came. They listen to stories about saving souls but at the same time they where made to slaves and killing them.

What exactly is missing from the bible if I might ask? The bible is a construct of the church — the Catholic church. Strip away everything and you'll find out that Christianity should be all about is love. Love neighbors. Love God. Pretty simple. It was supposed to be a lifestyle, not a religion. Keeping those laws automatically made you a citizen of heaven because your actions proved you obeyed the KING.

I'm afraid that if I believe in my own religion (Roman Catholic Christian) that I will end up in one of these three places when all I want is to end up dead and into oblivion. Heaven, Hell and Purgatory are such old-world religious concepts to me now that seem more like fairytales. I'd rather concentrate on reality these days.

What one believes or doesn't does not change "WHAT IS." Take for example the belief that the earth is flat. It wouldn't matter if everyone in the world believed the earth was flat. Would their belief or the lack of it make the world any less spherical? That's why whether someone believes in the existence of heaven or not, it's not their minds that will create a different reality in the afterlife. If there are only two destinations, you don't get to choose where you go. You actions while you are alive determine where you end up.

I do believe that there is a hell for people who do bad things in this living world, but I have a hard time believing that there is a blissful beautiful place called heaven. Maybe those who do good here on earth are already in a sort of heaven, living better lives than those who do bad things?

While the suffering on earth might feel like hell it certainly isn't. The concept of a place of punishment predates modern religion. Look at Greek myths and other older pagan religions. Each of the religions had a version of hell. And then there are lots of NDEs which prove that hell and heaven are real places . . .
