This is going to be part two of God Heals thread that I wrote a few days ago. I need to bring up a new point and I was afraid that it would get lost in page 3 or 4. So here I go.

I read a lot of you guys saying that you have witnessed miracles and sick people being healed miraculously overnight. Well I don't buy it. Humans can heal on their own and doctors can misdiagnose patients and their recovery times.

So many stories of Jesus or God making the blind see again and the sick getting healed. Never once have I heard about amputees growing back limbs. I'm sure they prey to god everyday to get a new limb, but never get it. If I can see an amputee actually grow a limb overnight, then I will admit that there must be a some kind of powerful being behind this.

Some of you might think that I am being cynical or rude, but it's a valid thought and question. Why can amputees get their prayers answered? That would be indisputable evidence that a divine power had to be investigated. But instead a sickly old man is put to bed and is later seen walking around the next day after a nights sleep, is considered a miracle. Like the immune system doesn't exist.

I think we all see miracles on our day to day, but as they don't happen from one minute to the other we simply don't consider them. Miracles happen, but they are phased in time, so that is why we miss them.

We all hear of miracles happening all around us. People being cured miraculously and without explanation but it doesn't happen for everybody. Some people may be hear death and recover, other don't. I don't think we will ever really know the answers or why some people are able to be healed while others aren't. It is just another one of live's mysteries.

My local newspaper is filled with all that stuff, and I'm quite tired of it already, haha. So many miracles happen to everyone, but it seems that they avoid me, haha.
Jokes aside, I don't believe in that, mainly because the media here is so malignant you don't even know what to trust anymore.

The thing we have to understand, is that God isn't a huge magic wand in the sky or some sort of rabbit's foot, He does as He wills, He will heal some and leave some{but not in a helpless situation}...plus God's ways are vast and mysterious, you can never comprehend...still, Faith plays a very huge and important role when it boils down to healing.

I know of a priest named Fernando Suarez who was based in Canada but have come to the country of his birth to heal people. He is a known healer who prays over the sick people. With the countless testimonies of those healed, Fr. Suarez is being mobbed wherever he goes. Out of envy, the local priests had banded together to ban his presence in their jurisdiction. But no one could disprove the testimonies of the healed patients.

Go gave us life and free will. If we look at our body can we think of any bigger miracle? A highly complex machine that works almost to perfection?

In my country, these practices are quite often-found, to be honest. There's been a lot of talks about such miraculous healings occuring everywhere, but unfortunately I wasn't there to witness anything of this matter, haha. I guess I'm absentminded from this particular subject.

Now, being very serious, I don't think these miraculous healings exist, and if they do, I just haven't had the chance of witnessing one. I won't rush and make unfounded assumptions.

You know @Sunflogun, your comment carries immense weight within, think about it, being alive in itself is a huge miracle, having health and sound mind is a miracle too, many things, simple things that we take for granted!

Simple answer- God has given Drs the ability to make limbs. So, in a sense amputees are getting there limbs back; prayers are being answered. Sometimes prayers for miracles don't come in the way we want them to but in Gods way.
