I don't know what to say about Islam anymore... it's just so confusing. In one paragraph, they blatantly and actively promote peace attitudes, but in another they instigate adepts to fight against "infidels". Ok, Islam...

Religion is a man made instituition to control people. It only serves as a medium to control peoples mind, so that they cant question bigger things. Who wouldn't say yes to 72 virgins after there death and serve what he is told to do. Think of a child, you tell them to behave and treat him with candy if he listens. But this doesn't really happen in the religion. This kind of things are thrown to brainwash weak minds.

Both of these statements can equally apply to all major world religions.

The UK is slowly becoming islamified. Major food stores are promoting halal food as a routine thing now, and it gets a very sensitive treatment from the press. Banks are even creating sharia compliant bank accounts now too. This would have been unheard of 10 years ago.

It is what it is. You might see this as a good thing or a bad thing, but it's happening.

Islam tend to be the most misunderstood religion, if i may suggest can someone post the verse from the Koran that talks about the 72 virgins. I think Islam should be judged by the book that came with it that is the Koran.

Err...why would their g-d hate them?...and do the extremists still follow the quran to death or its just hiding behind it, because in Christianity we have those who claim to love God but their actions prove otherwise...wolves in sheep's clothing.

..and ignorance is what makes such things happen...then we tend to regret much later in life, but as I always say; To each his/her own...plus I don't think its UK alone being 'Islamified'

This is one of the biggest cons ever, so we are promised after life treasures and we buy it? Are we thinking straight here?

I have never tried to read the Koran but if ever I would have the chance to read it, I still would never understand how the literals and extremists act. Islam is indeed such a complex religion to understand and I don't know if I would ever understand it. I admire the peace loving Muslims though because despite being so dedicated to their religion, they still manage to keep themselves straight knowing more and more Muslims are now being brainwashed by the ones who treat the Koran literally.

The 72 virgins thing,(what in the purple blue hell is a normal man going to do with 72 virgins?) is just one aspect of a very irrational and dangerous religion. Not only that, but millions of people worldwide buy into these beliefs that it makes one wonder why we have not eradicated all of mankind. The biggest lie of all, ' Islam is a religion of peace.' What horseshit.
