They already blame us for the creation of group like Al Quieda and ISIS. They do have a strong case for that. But it seem to me that, some say we should come back and finish the job and wipe them out, and the other half is pissed we keep on coming back. Damned if you do and damned if we don't. There is no win situation. Once this group is taken care of, another will take it's place and be more radical than the previous.

I can't believe they're teaching kids to hate at such an early age. It doesn't matter to me if the country they hated was yours or mine just the general fact that you're being taught to hate them in the first place is wrong. Hate should never be taught in schools, in the army or in your home-- hating keeps us away from progress. It turns us into warmongers and idiots without cause.

We get it - you're anti-American AND a race baiter, judging from each of your posts.

Most of us here are American, and some of us are proud veterans, and are white and vote Republican. I'd suggest chilling out on the rhetoric - there are better places to vent hatred for America and to race bait.

I don't spend very much time or energy bashing other countries - particularly allies.

There was another guy here from England who went by "Casper" who was an anti-American muslim who you're already reminding me of.

No mate, not everyone in Iran hates US, in fact very little of the population do, only those who are pro Iranian government chant death to America, but there are people among them who do it and appear as a pro Islamic revolution to get a job and do well for themselves.

Iranian Government is a beast, most of Iranian are afraid to even bring up the topic of politics and religion in a conversation with thier friends.

Just because Iranians chant 'death to America' doesn't mean they are stupid. Just because Iranians are making nuclear energy doesn't mean they will bomb America and the rest of the west the slightest chance they get. Unfortunately, most Americans have been brainwashed to think Iran and other Middle East countries have nothing better to do except plan how they will attack the West.

Exactly, Americans think very less of middle easters, it doesn't cross their minds that middle easters can have a life and not care about US.

What is the difference? we have people in the USA who put ´no muslims allowed´ signs up on businesses.

The problem with people like the OP is that you are talking about the vocal minority. The new President who was elected in Iran has a huge amount of support from young people and he is pro-west... or at least very moderate.

What you are seeing, and talking about are the knuckle-draggers.. the dinosaurs who are about to be extinct, the same way the rednecks who put up ´no muslims allowed´ will soon be extinct. The world is becoming closer and closer, media and communications allow everyone to see unfiltered what is actually going on. Yes, the rednecks can focus on isolated incidents, but the rest of the world sees Iran moving closer to being a normal part of the world. The same thing that happened with Cuba.

Also you have to understand some history. A big reason that a lot of older Iranians hate the USA is because we supported and propped up a brutal dictator for a few decades that only ended when Iran revolted against ´our puppet´ in 1979. There are a lot of similarities to what happened in Egypt a couple years ago. They overthrew our puppet, and then installed the Muslim Brotherhood in Mubarak´s place, mainly out of anger at the USA for installing Mubarak to begin with.

During the cold war, both Russia and the USA went around the world and installed their puppets as rulers.. When those rulers became brutal dictators, the USA and Russia were held partially responsible. For the USA, After Nixon there was no longer the political willpower to maintain those dicators, so a lot of ´revolutions´ happened in the mid to late 70s and 80s. For the USSR, it took until the 80s and the collapse of their empire.

Hat is very strong world. I can understand adult Iranian people hating America because they have the right to their own opinion, but why would they teach hatred to kids? That is just wrong. Kids should be taught to love the world, and if they see something they think can be done better, they should be taught to fix the problem, not kill the problem. I am assuming it would be a horrible idea for an American to step foot in Iran right now?

I'm in no way a sympathizer with the middle east, but from a normal person's standpoint: if someone bombed your country, wouldn't you be pissed off? I mean, I would be. I get why they hate us, even though it seems unjustified. We aren't them. We don't know what is going on over there. I dunno. I don't support what they're doing over there at all, but it is somewhat understandable.
