Being a bit of a mob and gangster movie fan, I'll also put the sopranos up there as being better than I expected also. A lot of shows just concentrate on the violent side of organised crime, but that show tried to portray the mafia as a normal family also. A side that you very rarely see.
I was surprised that Patrick Jane ended up with Lisbon, more or less it was predictable, but even so a nice sequence for the show. The Mentalist I mean.
The show Home Free that just wrapped up their season. It was done in such a secretive manner and all competitors ended up winning a new home that they all worked so hard as a team to renovate. It was heartwarming and I loved the ending.
