Happiness is something that most of us are looking for, some of us will find it and some of us won't...But it's really something that it's hidden out there? Or it's something that we all have inside but society have taught us that we need to look for it? What do you think about this?
I am a man and my job is to take care of my family, no matter what. It is my calling, my joy, and my the very purpose of life. It is simple as that. Beyond duty, I've found the simple joys in life—be it a sunny day, a quiet walk, a smile from the baby, a good meal, the dusting of a clay pigeon, or a nice dividend payment—are the things to relish. Sure, if one chooses to be negative, all sorts of ugly imaginations can be made. But why? Life is short, so enjoy it to the fullest now. Because when it is over, it is over.
Finding happiness need not to be as hard as most people make it appear. Embracing unrealistic expectations is what makes people miserable. Embrace your fate, enjoy the simple and free things life will offer you and you'll be happy. Happiness to me is being able to enjoy yourself no matter what happens and I'm happier than most people because I do what I love and I've got all the freedom I need. What more do I need?
To me happiness is a state of being. It's not something you look for or something you have to achieve like honors in school. Happiness is it's own lifestyle and philosophy, you have to choose what happiness means to you even if it means you just have a simple home but a loving family. It could also mean tons of cash or immortality through films. Happiness is strange, beautiful and wonderful-- it's something akin to bursts of adrenaline or a steady dose of physical touch.
Happiness is something that you enjoy particularly the enjoyment with nary a guilty feeling. All of us wish for happiness and I believe that we are here on earth to be happy and to enjoy what life has to offer. As they say in the book of quotations, you can choose to be happy so why choose not to be happy. And for me, happiness includes the little things that I can find enjoyment like eating, going out, watching tv and other small things and activities.
the most common mistake people make and fail in achieving happiness is having unrealistic expectations and goals. like Rainman said, we can enjoy the small things that life has to offer.
I don't think happiness is easy for most people to define. To me, I'd say a lot of different things can bring me happiness. I wouldn't say happiness is defined by a certain moment, or a certain feeling. It's defined by a large number of factors. I would say it's a feeling on content, of being emotionally satisfied and happy with personal relationships as well as being in good health financially speaking.
I, personally, find happiness very easy to define. What happiness is for me that is. Happiness is a combination of feeling that my life has good purpose and I am overall a good contributor to the world, and having the opportunity to do things I enjoy while suffering from very little that makes me feel bad. Society doesn't teach me to be happy, but it does encourage me to find happiness in things that contribute to the greater good and help other beings. And I think this is a good thing.
Happiness is the ability of opening my eyes in the morning, seeing the love of my life and closing them at night knowing I am loved.
Happiness to me is waking up each morning and finding something to smile about. I do not need to have a lot of material things, a bazillion friends, or tons of money to be happy. As long as I am alive and the family is taken care of, I am happy.
