These petitions very rarely do any good anyway in my opinion and the ones that have reached 100,000 signature required for it go to be debates that's all that happens. It gets debated for a few minutes and then that's the end of it.

Ultimately, what does this really accomplish? The Israelis aren't going to give their Prime Minister and they likely aren't amused by the gesture. And, agree, the refugee chaos is a more important issue to address. It is, quite literally, in their backyard now.

I agree that not much will happen, but this is just one of a number of changes happening as countries and their people, begin to acknowledge Israel as a terrorist nation.

Bush IS a war criminal, there is no "considering" him one way or the other. Think what you may, but the facts speak for themselves. The dubious legality of the war in Iraq and the torturing of POW's in Guantanamo as well as other secret prisons, and a whole litany of other crimes committed by him and his administration. He knew full well what he was doing too, which is why he wanted nothing to do with the ICC. Of course when your the scion of an influential, rich and powerful family you can pretty much get away with whatever you want as long as its also helping rich, powerful families.

I don't think Netanayhu is a good guy, and I don't think he has peace in his heart at all. He has a get us before they get them mentality. However, with all the issues in the Middle East, I don't anything is going to happen to him. Maybe if we had crazy people and radicals all around us, we may become paranoid too. It is my opinion that Israel needs a more moderate leader, and not one that is prone to violence.

Netanyahu will be safe in the UK, war criminal or not. After Iraq, a similar petition was organised against Tony Blair. It'll be given no more than 5 minutes in Parliament.

It's probably mostly these types who want him arrested:

I stand with Israel and consider them our ally.

Well, thankfully, US and WH slams Palestinians' efforts against Israel of war crimes at the ICC (International Criminal Court). Washington opposed any action against Israel and said it's 'counterproductive' for the Palestinians. And stupid (to my estimation). Israel and PM Beyamin Netanyahu have their evidences of attempted murders with 33+ network of tunnels dug from Gaza to Israel, 2000+ rockets hurled into Israel in 2014 always intercepted by (Iron Dome). Israel is fighting back. They have every right to defend themselves.
Look up news from The Times Of Israel, "US slams Palestinians Israel War Crimes Suit."

The above post is one of the issues Palestinian backed media and International sympathy Israel is legally prepared to fight back.

Anyway, Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu is meeting this September with British counterpart, David Cameron, and is one of Israel’s staunchest allies in Europe. Netanyahu is to present the grounds for his objections to the nuclear deal with Iran. We stand with Israel!
