I saw some interesting topics here and decided to join. I have already posted a few posts on the religion philosophy thread. I am a self taught Technical Analyst, and use my charts to determine long term investing decisions, and am always happy to share my work. I tried putting up an image of myself but they were all invalid for some reason.
Hello SB - Carney unfortunately is sticking to the same script as the Fed Reserve and keeping interest rates ridiculously low, allowing the central banks the means and time to transfer wealth from the people to themselves and back to High St banks via buying gov't bonds with money created out of thin air before the next default, where they can then legitimately claim (via new rules) to acquiesce ordinary peoples deposits to cover their own failings. But then what else would we expect from that group of private individuals that go under the guise of a government branch who want to rule the world

Welcome Patric. We might have a bit of a different definition of long term but myself I stick more to fundamental analysis when figuring out what to buy next. To be honest I have very little knowledge of technical analysis so it's going to be interesting to see what you come up with. If you don't midn, I'd be intersted to see a part (or the whole) of your portfolio? Just to see what kind of stuff you've managed to gather so far.

Thanks. Interesting allocation... I'm guessing the super high property % is due to owning an apartment/house simply for investing purposes? I considered that for a long time too but ended up going with REITs... way fewer problems and issues which require my attention... this is quite important for me as I travel A LOT due to work.
