I normally watch YouTube. However, I will comment that the fact many people avoid buying music has vastly hurt the music industry. This hurt industry isn't producing the same quality music as before. There isn't any financial motivation for people to produce good music.

When I'm at home I'll sometimes look through YouTube but I think while it's a good source for looking at videos, as a music player it leaves a lot to be desired.

Of course it's primarily a video channel so I doubt that in the future they will incorporate a music player in there.

I mostly listen to YouTube when I am in the mood to listen to music. There is such a wide variety on there and you can find almost any song you like. I have purchased songs from iTunes on a number of occasions and I do buy iTunes gift cards for my nieces.

I used to be really big into collecting albums of the artists I enjoy but these days I just listen to stuff on Youtube mostly.

I'll be honest, I haven't bought a new album in what must be something like 10 years. All the albums I had I ripped to my computer and listen to them there when I feel like it but as I say, it's mostly Youtube I listen to these days.

Speaking of collecting albums, people collecting vinyl records is on the increase these days, and with campaign's such as record shop day being introduced, no matter how many people decide to download music instead, I think there will always be a market.

I usually don't pay for music because there are quite a few legal ways to get them. Exceptionally I might pay for something as a gift, but it's not common.

I no longer buy actual physical cd's. It just feels so outdated and unnecessary. I'm a big fan of the streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music. Pretty fantastic deal. All the music you could ever want for around 10 bucks a month. Can't beat that. It's a heck of a lot better than buying one album for $15.

I do buy the occasional download but on the whole, I use Spotify or YouTube. The convenience is the main thing for me, as well as the fact that discs take up so much space and attract a lot of dust.

I don't buy music because I don't see the point. You can find any song on YouTube which is what I always use. I don't like albums or artists enough to buy their music. I only like individual songs so I just look them up online for free.

Though I use Youtube for most of my music needs, I do think it's very important that people actually still pay for music if they want to own an album, or even if they just want to own one track. Musicians need to make a living, just like everyone else does. I don't think anyone would be happy if they made something and then someone else went around giving their item to everyone for free without their permission.
