I've been watching some videos, Muslims trying to prove that there's is the one true religion. According to the Muslim scholar, an angel told Mohammad that one religion would replace all the others. That ONE religion according to him is Islam. I've heard similar claims come from different Christian denominations so I found this to be rather surprising. Muslims and Christians aren't so different after all.

Anyway, do you think Islam could be the one true religion?

God CLEARLY told Joey Smith that the Church of Latter Day Saints AFTER Mohammad.
So if we are just going by who the most recent prophet was then we should go Mormon.
It's the same story rehashed again and again.

I don't think either Christianity or Islam are the one "true" religion. There are so many similarities between the Bible and the Koran that I feel the two do overlap somewhat. It's almost as though they are two parts of the same story - each written from an entirely different viewpoint. I believe both books do state that Jesus is the Messiah though. It's certainly very interesting.

Religion is all the same in my opinion, it's just the different religions "god" has a different name.

From what I've seen they all follow a same basic outline and if you wanna believe that then that's fine, just don't go all extreme about it and threaten to kill others because you don't like what they believe it.

I agree Susimi. They are all similar and they all believe that their religion is the right one. It makes no difference what church you go to or what religion you practice. I believe it it all basically the way which very few differences that separate them.

I see what you mean. I think it isn't a matter of who's religion is true or false in which to base a seeker of truth to place his/her faith in to find fulfillment and true meaning in life. It's the purity and peace from which truth flows from. Afterall, isn't human's deep need in his soul is to find meaning and inner peace and the value of life and the life of others? And the one truth of the Almighty God can fill human's need based on His pure love, compassion, slow to anger, full of mercy and truth.

Therefore, one must test the purity of that truth to place his/her faith in.

First of all, God didn't ordain denominations. Another thing, an angel didn't establish Christianity. God came to earth in human form to die for the sins of the world. That was Jesus. Then the unsaved people of the world started calling his followers Christians. So I don't know what you're talking about. You're deceived. The only way to salvation is through Jesus Christ. His name is the number 1 blasphemed and he's the number 1 person that is always mocked. That's because he wrote himself onto our hearts and conscience. Everyone knows the truth, the bible says they suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

No it's not. There are many gods. Real gods, who can and actually do help those who worship them. The gods I refer to which were worshiped by pagans for example were demons. The god satanists worship is a fallen angel. Aren't they [demons and fallen angels] the same? No. Fallen angels were thrust out of heaven but demons are spirits of the children angels had with women. But above them all is the God Jews worship. It's not just the names. They are all different.

When @Rainman talks about the angel speaking with Mohammed, it's pretty clear he's referring to Islam. And as for Jesus Christ being the "number 1 person who is always mocked", well, I'm pretty sure that Caitlyn Jenner overtakes him in those stakes!
