I love it. I live in CO so the colors are amazing with the backdrop of the mountains. There's so much scenery.

I enjoy fall and the winter because people tend to be calmer and happier towards the holiday season. I loathe summer not only because of the humidity, but because it's a major vacation time for children and those who are parents seem so anxious about going somewhere and activities that popular places are crowded and unpleasant to visit. Families argue and bicker and prices are hiked up.

I'm so glad when the children and students go back to school and stay there because it turns things upside down.

It seems that the fall is most people's favourite time of the year and it is easy to see why.

While I'm not a huge fan myself, it does conjure up memories for me of playing in the leaves in the park when I was a kid, Halloween trick or treating, and of course knowing that Christmas isn't too far away now!

Well it is now November, well into the Fall and it is still warm. Later week will be near 80! We have had some cold days and nights though. However, I am not going to complain too much, because it is a better than a foot of snow. That will probably come later...hehe. We tend to get a lot of snow around here in February for some reason.

I suppose it's a blessing being in the UK as we get a good mix of hot weather and cold weather too, but I have to say I much prefer the cooler weather so yes I am definitely looking forward to the winter months.

Over the past few days there has been a thick fog covering most of the Southern portion of the UK and it's been pretty nice to look at. The pictures some people have been taking have been amazing.

I can confirm that the fog has reached the North now and there's a real eerie feeling in the sky today. It's quite enjoyable. Cold but pretty.

However, I much prefer the summer months. Not that we really get too much of that in the UK!

I prefer the summer over the fall any day. I like the warm temps and all the fun things that go along with it like swimming and camping. Fall is usually short lived and then you are into the snow and colder temperatures. I am not a winter person so I hate to see it come every year. I think I could be happy living south where the temps are mostly nice all year.

It seems like we only get one week of really hot weather and then things go back to normal, like grey cloudy and drizzly weather. So standard British weather!

Early this morning at the crack of dawn was a little foggy but it all looks to have cleared. The North is set to get some fog today so be prepared.

I hate the hot weather, so I'm definitely ready for the cool temperatures. It doesn't help that it gets very hot in my work because of the sun shining through the windows right onto my work station when I would the day shift. I'm sure I won't mind as much when I'm working nights.

Either way, I can bring out my nicer clothes in the autumn and winter anyway.

I bought a jacket for winter a while ago and wore it during the early months of the year. I think I went a little over-bored with it but when I have it on I certainly feel snug and warm in it. With the hood up, the zipper done all the way and all the buttons done up I feel like I'm in my own cosy world walking around outside in the cold.

I'm looking forward to being able to use it this winter. :)
