Not surprised to hear about this happening but very sad to hear that it is. People who do this should be charged accordingly. Nobody should get away with any type of hate crime. There will always be ignorant idiots around who get pleasure out of being hateful.

I don't think the actions of terrorists have in any way changed us. Someone's actions don't suddenly make someone else a half-decent human. Either they were decent before or they weren't. These people smashing windows, all they needed was an excuse to do something they've always wanted to because they have always hated Muslims [and want to "terrorize" them].

All Muslims are not the same, not every one of them is terrorist. You can't blame innocent people for inhuman incidences taking place over the globe. They are as helpless as we are. They cannot do anything to it. If we start attacking them just because they are Muslims then what's the difference between us and those heartless terrorists.

I believe there are different "branches" of islam, such as sunni, shia, druze, alawite, twelver etc. It does seem that some of those sects are more prone to violence and waging jihad than the others. Alawites, for instance, seem fairly content to live in peace with their neighbors of other faiths. Indeed, Syria, before Israel, the Saudis and America destroyed it was a peaceful, multicultural paradise. Sad to see it go the way it has these last few years.

I think that this is stupid, honestly. While I don't like Muslims too much (for the fact that they refuse to adapt that stupid religion and for the fact that most of them refuse to adapt to the Western civilization), hurting people in vain brings nothing good. You reap what you sow every time. In Romania we say that "Cine seamana vant, culege furtuna" which translates into "He who sows wind reaps storms".

If people don't act shady, are not violent, don't try to persuade people to do acts of violence in the name of a religion, there is no need to hurt them just because other people of the same religion did horrible things.

Such attack doesn't surprise me at all... bias will be everywhere, and it coming from Texans is even less surprising. Sorry if I'm offending anyone here!

What arouses my intrigue though... is why it took so long for an attack to happen?
