    Email Protip:
Add the address to the email at the end when you are done crafting your email. This way if you accidentally hit send it doesn't go anywhere.

I think that this would be really helpful for distracted people like me! Sometimes I send an e-mail and I think I'm sending it to the right person but I'm not... This just have happened to me a few times, but with this option I don't need to apologize or be that ashamed of myself anymore, but if I had to make some changes to this option would be to give more time, 30 seconds it's fine! But anyway, I guess that I am going to use it someday!

It's a good feature, but I don't think it's fair to make it only 10 seconds that you have to cancel the email. They should have mad the time frame longer. A lot of people are indecisive.

Huh, really? After all this time the thread has been posted and have never ever heard of this functionality before. I will look for it, but it seems odd to implement such feature. It does make sense to a point, meaning that you might have really liked to add another something to the e-mail, and you just cancel it being sent and then add your stuff. 10 seconds isn't much, but enough, like someone else above said.

Oh yeah this will really come in handy. People usually find a mistake within seconds of sending an e-mail. I wish there was a functionality like this in texting so drunk texts can still get deleted and bad decisions won't haunt you in the morning. People always need a do over so 10 seconds is good. I wish I had this 5 years ago when I was sending an e-mail to an ex. Every second counts.

Pretty brilliant, actually. Sometimes you need to think twice about what you've sent, sometimes you send something accidentally.

Pretty easy to see why this would be useful...

This would be useful in like sending an important email including personal information or other not for everyone's eyes material to wrong address. However 10 seconds is quite short period of time and therefore you won't always notice your mistake instantly.
