    Any big plans?

I plan to rent a suite at the local casino and stay the night with my GF.

We're on central time here, so that means I'll have plenty of time to leave the party downstairs for a little while to go back up to my suite and catch the New York City celebration at 12 am EST on the tv, before heading back down to the pool area for the 12 am central live celebration here.

Of course I'll be watching it on Fox, hosted by the lovely Kimberly Guilfoyle and featuring a co-host live via satellite from Palm Beach, who is none other than GOP front runner Donnie Trump. :D

Sounds like fun. HNY! If you want to celebrate 2016 coming in around the world, start with Vanuatu. Unfortunately some of the time sites incorrectly start 2016 in a time zone further west. I used to listen to the arrival in Vanuatu using a shortwave radio, and follow each hour westward through Oceania, Asia, Africa and Europe. Nowadays TuneIn works well. The South African stations are a lot of fun to listen to at Midnight; some have call-in shows with listeners around the world. Once I watched the Korean new year celebration KBS TV via the 'net. The light show absolutely put Paris and New York City to shame. If you have trouble converting time zones, use Time & Date. FWIW, we have white wine cooling in the fridge. No driving on roads around here. Too darn dangerous from late afternoon onwards. Enjoy.

I have nothing special plans for New Year. I am going to spend it with my friends and maybe grab a couple drinks in a local bar.

I don't have anything planned. Just a night in with my family. I'm visiting my in-laws over the holiday break, and I don't like to do much for New Years.

I generally don't make plans anymore. I don't drink and if I were to celebrate the holiday in some way it would be on the actual day not the eve. So many people use new years eve as an excuse to get sauced that it just isn't fun for me.

Going to a party with old highschool friends that I haven't seen in 10 years. It should be fun or dreadful.

Happy New Year to everyone here! Hope you have a good one bringing in the new year :)

I may go for a drive out to a viewpoint this evening that looks out over a city and sit there watching the fireworks go off as the new year rolls around.

Happy New Year...I am planning to see my son...and maybe go to the new Star Wars movie. I love to go to Northern Virginia.his area..which even though the traffic is a nightmare...is an exciting place to be...with great restaurants and shopping...unlike this stupid place where I live...lol.

Happy New Year everybody. Hope you all enjoyed your New Year's celebrations. My partner and I stayed home and had a few drinks. We watched movies, played music and had some seafood appetizers. It was a good evening.
