The Irony of this post, you mean. Atheism is a response to a single question: Does God, or do gods, exist? Theism says yes, Atheism says no. And to then further lump people into a category based on their response to this question is not only closed minded and rude, but it is counter-productive. we all just need to get along, man. :)

Hahahahaha, jokes aside, I think there exists a perfect compromise between Atheist and Theism. That's Deism.

Deists believes in the existence of a God who created the universe but that 'God' is inactive and have little to no interest in controlling human affairs.

They summed it up nicely on one of the websites on Deism.

Deism: About the God who created the universe, set it going, left & hasn't been seen since.

I didn't read the post completely but to each their own man. We live in a time that people are culturally diverse and cultures are being shared. I think that is such a beautiful thing. Some people believe in God, some many gods, and some believe in no God at all...So what? You can't make everyone think the same, we are all individuals. As long as nobody is hurting or threatening anyone because of their religion then let them believe what they want.

All atheists and religious people differ in their opinions. You can't take the most extreme people in each group and use them as an example of the whole.

Although, I think you are forgetting that regardless, all people have the same feelings. Atheists have hope, faith etc. too. It's a part of being human.

So, someone actually took the time to post that in this forum? Chances are the post was copy/pasted from somewhere else on the web. Why would someone take the time to write a post like that in a forum like this? they wouldn't.

I think extremists are never right. I'm not a Christian myself, and I really do hate those Christian fundamentalist, but I think those extreme atheist are more or less the same.

Just believe what you want and don't bother other people with your believes.

Anyone that thinks they know what this world is - is likely wrong. People like to waste their lives debating and telling them selves they believe something that deep down they know is probably not true. It's all noise. Live your life.
