So I'm sure most of you have heard about the mass rape and groping that took place in Cologne on New Years perpetrated by persons of "Arab and African appearance", right? What's your thoughts on it all and what do you think about the reaction?

I have heard reports that the mayor of Cologne or someone high up has said that what the women were wearing was partly to blame for the incident, aka victim blaming. I find it amusing that around this time a year ago doing such a thing, indicating the way a woman dresses is partly to blame for unwanted attention, was seen as a big no no, however now it appears it's OK to do so....just what the hell?

So what are your thoughts on this matter?

I am fascinated to see how this reaction will turn out. I posted about this incident briefly on social media and people are STILL sticking to the "we have to help the refugees" narrative, REFUSING to acknowledge the very real issues and problems at play, EVEN AFTER something like this happens. Unbelievable.

One thing we WILL see though, is public backlash against German politicians is just going to get worse. And the media has been caught with its pants down after suppressing stories like these for so long.

What they don't want to highlight is the refugee issue and that these refugees are the culprits. However, one cannot escape the fact that if women have reported these attacks, why would they make them up? Surely they can also see them on CCTV?

No one wants to admit that refugees do bring also a degree of danger, in that you allow people in with unchecked criminal records, so how safe are people?

Unfortunately I think people have to say it as it is and not be scared to admit that, the amount of refugees entering the country probably did have a significant impact on what happened.

It's a well known fact that Muslim men, no matter if they're radical or not, have no respect for women, and especially western women.

They let too many in at once which is preventing them from really assimilating into the culture. Instead or learning how to be a German Citizen, they just stay the same since there are larger groups. And if no one cracks down on the violence, it will just get worse.

I doubt many of them wish to assimilate, becoming a German citizen doesn't mean you have to agree to how Germans live and their culture. Sadly, we all knew this may happen. It happened in the UK when there was an influx of eastern European men coming over to work. There were more reports of gropes and attacks, and the men said in our country it was normal and accepted.

The cultural differences will become more apparent, and it's not as if it wasn't an unknown quantity, but it's too late. Germany can't send them back now.

I doubt they want/ed to assimilate in the first place, at least a large majority of them at least. Germany said they were welcome and then that was it. People are even calling the influx of migrants arriving in Europe "The Great Migration", and it's not far from the truth.

What's really annoying me about this is leftists are pretty much trying to justify the actions of what they did on New Years Eve saying that in their culture this sort of stuff is seen as normal. That might be the case in their backwards society but not here.

It's just someone living up to their depravity, real simple. I hope the person was caught and punished for their actions.

So far they have found 16 suspects (BBC News), but I imagine as many of these people don't have papers or full ID yet, it will be hard to track them down. I think the German police need to work hard and be seen to protect the citizens rather than pandering to any politics or keeping the media out of this.

I often return to the concept of societal collapse a lot, especially in respect of financial markets etc, and I gather I might come across as a bit of "prepper"-type nut. But what we're witnessing in Germany is precisely the sort of thing that I'm alluding to.

One million fighting-age, able-bodied men have been brought into Germany, and none of them share the sorts of values that made that country great. Within a generation Germany could easily be a third-world entity within the heart of Europe, a "poor man" rotting away to irrelevancy. If it can happen there, it can happen anywhere.....
