It doesn't really matter if they have an H-Bomb anyway. If they try to attack anyone, their country will be flattened. And if a missile head towards the US, we can easily shoot it down or destroy the plane.
NK has a lot of outdated equipment going back to the Cold War days but they have a lot of it so I suppose they could still do some damage if a war happened but I agree that US would flatten them with modern equipment. If there was a war though I wonder if we would have amusing antics similar to Comical Ali.

It is not a minor happening so you can lie about it. It is not a pride parade. It is an H bomb tested somewhere for some reason. North Korea is a scary little country if you ask me. I am sure they did this testing and even though I do not follow this happenings so heartly it is never a good thing to test these bombs. I do not know what is going on with people but it is a weapon of mass destruction and it made to kill. We are very sick.
Take a moment and look at it from N. Korea´s perspective. They have been isolated for 50 years and they no longer even get invited to the meetings that determine their sanctions and economic future. The USA and China basically argue over everything that happens to N.Korea and they don´t even get asked anymore. Now look at Pakistan. Pakistan is smaller, with less of an army, a more unstable gov´t.. but guess what, you do not see the USA, China and India determining the fate of Pakistan without including Pakistan... you know why? because they have the ability to bomb almost anyone. And please stop the partisonship on this issue. Bush was President for 3 years when N.Korea detonated their first bomb... what did he do? nothing... just increased the economic sanctions already in place. When they detonated the second bomb in 2007, what did Bush do? nothing. Obama just continued that ´strategy´ with the 3rd and 4th bombs. It is a policy failure, but every President since Carter has been a part of it. Why? because there is no solution. China is never going to let us bomb or invade N.Korea, and we already have them completely cut off economically. There simply has never been anything any administration could do to a country that is willing to starve themselves just so they can have the bomb. I don´t think they are going to bomb anyone, or even sell bombs.. I think what they want is to have a seat at the table, to have a position of power when they negotiate. Having the bomb worked for Pakistan and India.
Well, again, I think it is just the current crazy " adored leader" or whatever he is calling himself these days., way of attracting attention to himself. He has already proven time and again..he would rather play with weaponry then be decent to the members of his own country. China can only be marginally helpful in keeping the crazy in check.
It worked for Pakistan. I am not saying it is a winning strategy for him, but if you know history, you can almost see why he is doing what he is doing. Again, his country has been ´starving´ for 2 generations now, they are used to it. There is never going to be a people´s uprising against him. The best hope for the west is that the deals we made with Iran and Cuba greatly benefit those countries economically... that might show him that there is a better method than the Pakistan model. But yeah, if I were him, and inherited the situation he did, probably pushing for the H-bomb is his fastest way to get the sanctions lifted. Once he has the h-bomb and can hit the USA, he will be able to demand things at the negotiating table that he can´t demand now.
