I'm not sure about the credibility of this woman. How I don't doubt that she was telling the truth about Bill Clinton's affair with her as he had with Lewinksy, I do think she may have spiced it up with the part about them being in any danger because of the situation.
It won´t play at all in this election. Like so many of these conspiracy things, the only people who will even read about it are people who would never vote for Hillary anyway. This is why the Reps are in this situation. They just look like little kids throwing mud. Do you see Hillary saying anything about Trump, or about anything except comments on his direct quotes. Against Cruz? Reps have wasted the past 2 years investigating and witch-hunting against Hillary, and really the people stopped listening a long time ago. You all saw how Carly´s little comment played? not so well.
The entire world knows about his affair, Hilary stood by him and everyone has moved on. He is not the first President to have an affair and may not be the last. It's old news and dragging up old stories is a bit sad. No one cares, they are still married and get on with things. It doesn't bother them, so I doubt it will bother the public.
There's a theory that Marilyn Monroe was murdered because of her affairs with John and Robert Kennedy, and the things that she knew about them both. It wouldn't surprise me either that the Clintons would stoop to such depths to preserve their political careers. Hilary stood idly by as Ambassador Chris Stevens was raped and murdered in Libya, so killing a couple of other people who threatened them doesn't seem like much of a stretch.
I agree it is old news and time to move on. Everybody knew about all of his affairs. He was near as good at hiding them as her thought it was but people have moved on from that. Hilary stood by his side and accepted knowing all the details. I think bringing all of this up from the past is ridiculous. I mean who really cares. He wasn't the first and he likely won't be the last so time to just let it go.
The affairs aren't old news if one believes the New York Times. Apparently there are defections from the Hillary camp, especially in NH, over the nonsense. I didn't bother chasing down the story -- on the road all day -- but a number of talk radio shows mentioned same. FWIW, YMMV.
Many women stand by their husbands and tolerate affairs. FDR had an affair for several decades and Eleanor did offer him a divorce, but his FDR's mother was against it and Eleanor kept up the appearance. People make mistakes, they learn from them and get over them. In her own right she has been successful, marriages these days are often good arrangements. Regardless, picking at old news smacks of desperation, and trying to say people were in danger has no evidence. The President and former Presidents have security for a reason; they are always under threat of attacks.
