Motivational for business? There is nothing that is motivational purely for business. Unless you like to hear a billionaire talk. Does that motivate you know he has a billion dollars?

Motivation for business is no different then motivation for life. When you are around wealthy businessmen you will often hear philosophical quotes. Philosophy is motivation.

I'm reading a book called "Predator's Ball" that is very good - it's about the raiders like Icahn, Pickens, and Boesky when they were younger, and junk bond kings like Milken who helped finance them back in the 80's.

If that billionaire challenges me to beat him, then hell yes that would motivate me!

This may sound funny to some, but my favorite motivator is Suze Orman. She has a way of speaking to people that makes me laugh...if you have no money, you can't buy things. If you have credit card debt...you can't buy things. She puts things in their most simplist terms when it comes to money.

Alot of the stuff motivates me from TED talks youtube channels.
Find it interesting listening to people like BIll Gates talking about how he used to work long days.
Also, Steve Jobs speech at a college in America.

I am motivated by Michael Jordan. I know his quotes have nothing to do with investing, but they are still very motivational. I am also very motivated by Paul McKenna's "How to get rich".

I often find religion to be quite motivating when it come to everyday tasks. I mean, I'm leaning towards buddhism myself, and after converting, I just feel far more motivated to be nice to people, do good things, and so on. There are of course tons of books, vidoes, movies, and so on that motivated me to do all the things i do today, but unfortunately I don't quite remember the books where I read everything. I remember the words, but not the books where I read them in.

Hmm...many things, and they don't need to be about business to motivate me in business. Anyway, what I can think of now- Les Brown speeches(choose random one on youtube), Homeless to Harvard (movie), the Pursuit of Happyness(movie). Other than that, Marie Forleo videos (also from youtube, answer to questions about business, freelance work and other things). I'm sure there are many others. Basically things that remind me that learning is useful and wonderful thing that can open your world. Business is like that, you have to be flexible and open to learn and improve yourself.

That would be his commencement speech at Stanford in 2005. I to watch this video whenever I feel a bit down in life. What an amazing speech.

Here it is for those who haven't seen it.
