Yep, I think that Bernie sanders will see it through to the end. Mostly because of his stubbornness and the integrity that he has shown over the decades in the senate. Remember, only a couple of months ago, he was basically unknown to the general public. Now his rallies bring waves of supporters, and his speeches move the hearts of millions, both in America and in the world. I personally think he's gearing up for not this one, but the next general election, and using this election cycle to gain the massive popularity he needs for getting elected as the POTUS in the next election cycle. And to achieve that, a fight-right-till-the-end approach would be a really great and effective move on his part.

I think personally alot of it depends on how he does in California. If he does not do well, he may decide to drop out, but yes, I think he should stay in to give the Dems an alternative to Hillary in case an indictment comes done the pike and her Presidential aspirations blow up with it. Of course Sanders getting the nomination might end up with a Republican win in November, but time will tell.

Sad to say, but I think it is going to be Clinton Vs Trump as well and I do not want to vote for either of them. I think Bernie will keep fighting till the very end though, and it just shows how passionate he is. In the end, I think I will have to vote for Clinton just so that Trump does not get my vote, and I hate to have to do that because I want to stand behind my candidate and really believe in that person.

Interesting article, that pretty much does explain it. I still wonder why his odds are as generous as 17/1 though. Is there a sincere doubt in anyone's mind that Hillary will win the nomination?

I don't see him dropping out at all. He will either win or lose, but he won't give up. I actually believe he has a chance of winning. It's a small chance, but still there.

One thing to keep in mind, and I think this is why the DNC is encouraging him to stay in the race, Presidential candidates for the Democrats MUST supply their supporter data to a centralized database. This means that while Bernie is bringing out voters that Hillary probably could not bring out, once she is the nominee, Hillary will have access to all that information that Bernie gathered, and be able to use it during the general election. She will be able to target ads to those voters saying stuff like ´Bernie endorses me´.. she will be able to target Bernie supporters with messages related to the things Bernie was pushing. There are still a few democratic primaries in swing states, and I am sure the DNC would love to have Bernies data in those states.

The Republicans have no such central database. The RNC maintains it´s own database but does not require candidates to contribute to it.

There is no reason why he won't do battle until the end, but whatever happens he has built up his image. Unlike the GOP the battle is less back stabbing on more on policies and what their aims are.

He has support and regardless he is still a Senator and will be able to vote in the electoral college.

I also think that he'll be there at the end, no matter how unlikely he is to get anywhere near to be selected. That might not entirely be his choice though, and I have a feeling that he's being prompted to stay in the race from other sources rather than him actually wanting to.

The only good thing that Sanders could be around for is the fact that it might be an incentive to get Hillary indicted. Everyone knows that she should have been a long time ago. So if he can do us that favor, then he can run against Trump instead of her.

I don't see that happening even though a lot of people probably would like to see it. It looks like the demos threw Bernie under the bus a while back and lifted Hillary up as their golden girl from here on out.

Bernie talks a good game, but he's too fantasy based. He isn't going to make it to round 2 when Hillary, deceitful and devious as she is, knows the ropes and how to pull them. She's got her funding, her ducks in a row, and her protection from law and justice in line. He probably should hang it up if he's trying to win, but if he's trying to make Hillary lose, then he should hang in there.

I'm not sure the people even want Trump, but he's about the only other choice now.

Knowing how Bernie is, he won't throw in the towel. He'll keep on going until it's officially over. None of these candidates are above-board, but you work with what you got.
