CBS News has some interesting infographics on what the candidate's tax plans would do to one's take home pay. Well, for those of us who actually work for a living and pay taxes, of course.

Those are some interesting statistics. Well, I guess we will have to see what happens in the next election. I guess the "liberal media" reported that accurately and fairly however, you have to give them credit for that. It looks like unbiased reporting to me.

Looking at those figures I think it's easy to see why Trump is getting the support that he is doing up and down the country.

Along with just figures though, I'd like to actually see a breakdown of just how ges going to be able to achieve those figures, as in politics things aren't exactly always as they seem.

No one except the people looking to get free stuff are going to vote for Bernie at this point. The facts were on the table from what they said and promised to do, but this infographic drives it home with the raw numbers up on the screen. Ted Cruz is only getting the support from the ones who are in a bracket near 250k or above, and even that is questionable.

Everyone else is supporting Trump because the gains are right there. Whether it's to make money, to make America great again by a principle or idea, or just to try and turn around the national debt as it is, it becomes clear why people want Trump more than the others.

What I worry about with Trump is that he will take away from the legitimately disabled people because of all the gimmie-gimmie crowds that Bernie and Hillary would support. I hope he has enough sense and rational thought to leave the disabled and retirement funds of the elderly alone while restoring the working class and the economy to where it should be again.

It's a given that any Republican will be better for those of us on the whole who work, invest, own businesses, etc.

If you're one of the lucky elites who gave to the Clinton foundation and contributed to her campaign, you'll get a nice tax exemption from Hillary.

If you're in one of those industries she decides she's going to make a loser (like fracking and other fossil fuels, biotech, investment banking, etc), you'll not like her.

Sanders has no chance of winning a general election, and the DNC no doubt would deny him the nomination in favor of a less radical dem if something happened with Hillary.

It appears it will be either Trump or Cruz against Hillary. Kasich doesn't have a chance, but perhaps he's been told by GOP elites that they plan to screw whichever of the other two guys gets the nomination and give it to him.

Kasich cannot beat Hillary - he's far too nice, and has said that he won't play dirty. The only way a Republican can beat Hillary or just about any other dem (save a complete loon like Sanders) is to be even dirtier and nastier than the dem will be, and to totally destroy their dem opponent. A clean campaign for a Republican is a losing campaign - just ask Jeb, Walker, Romney, McCain, et al.

Trump and perhaps Cruz are nasty enough to destroy her, and won't cower and fold up when they are called "sexist" the way most in the GOP have and would against her. But I'm still very skeptical either could manage to beat her in the EC.

I don't think you can really stick to these statistics and consider them to be accurate either, though I'm sure that if they were elected and actually got to do everything they promised then they would be. That's never the case, though.

Those are some interesting graphs there and I find it interesting that the paychecks would go up if Trump were to win, and would go down if Hilary or Sanders were to win. I wonder what they would do to make those changes. I also see the cost of living going up if Trump were to actually make it so that we saw more of our money on our paychecks. The market would get greedy and we will have to pay more for the essentials. Seattle just passed a $15 minimum wage a year ago and now you can already start to see the cost of things rising. I live about 10 miles from the city and things cost less where I live than they do in Seattle now, and I live in an area where there is a high per capita household income.

The figures shown aren't going to be accurate as I don't think that anyone can predict exactly whatsoever going to happen when the new president takes over.

They can guess and make predictions, but at the end of the day that's all they are. Just educated guesses.

Well I am with some of the users above in thinking that I will not be putting much stock into these statistics and some of the statements that have come out, because it does not really matter until some policy has been enacted and we all know that it takes a long time. I have heard that Sanders supporters are tipping 15 dollars wherever they go to promote his policies that are supposed to help lower income workers, but I am not sure if that is really happening and if anything substantial has been said about what policies he is going to try and pass.

So Trump is getting voters over this. I learned that in pre election period and the campaigns everything is allowed and the lies, manipulations and promises are all combined in one big charade. I guess if in my country politicians lie the American politicians will use the Machiavelli concept from Prince very seriously and several promised numbers are no problem for them. Does Trump has any good explanation the hell he would achieve his goals and promises? Maybe he does but I really doubt that.
