I think totems are wonderful works of art no matter what if any religious or spiritual meaning they may have behind them. They are interesting and people can tell stories with them. I always thought they were tribe markers to be honest, just like house numbers on a home.

Well I think each religion has their symbols, and totems are just some of those. I think they are special and unique talismen to specific tribes, and the fact that they can be used to represent a tribe is special. I have no idea what kind of power they might have. I am sure they were powerful symbols to the people who constructed them.

I think totems are great, they're physical manifestations of a spiritual being, usually an ancestor or deity to guide the community. In my country people usually bring small totems with them and it doesn't necessarily mean it has spiritual significance, some of it is based in their culture or just for luck.

I think they are pretty much just that. The faith tradition I was raised in (Roman Catholicism) has similar things like statues, icons, relics, holy water fonts, etc., and they, essentially, played the same roll as totems and the like. If someone finds meaning in them, well, to each their own. I just don't ascribe any power to them.

They're superstitious, pointless, and ungodly. I remember we had one outside of our high school in my hometown. No one thinks anything of it until they are saved and realize they're idols.

А Tоtеm is аn оbjесt thаt is usеd tо tеst if оnеsеlf is in оnе's оwn rеаlity (drеаm оr nоn-drеаm) аnd nоt in аnоthеr pеrsоn's drеаm. I personally think that they're just mysticisms, but for a lot of people they are a big part of their lifes, and we need to respect that. But yes, I don't really think that they have an specific use or function to me, but for others can work. The other day I was watching a movie, and the main character was always carrying his totem, and for him, it was a important thing to remember to himself what's real and what's not, It was pretty interesting.

I don't think much about Totems. They just seem like ornaments that represent a particular tribe or group. Some of them look cool, especially some of the older ones.

I had some weird experiences with them in my 20's, like just straight up spooky serendipity at such a consistent and undeniable pace that it bothered me. I am very skeptical though and steer away from things like that if they start to make me feel a bit loopy, but enough serendipity will make anybody's eyes bug out.
