Both times when the U.S went into Iraq is because of that lucrative and high demanding oil. Unfortunately war has cost us more than millions of dollars each year. Most of that oil coming from Iraq does concern me about the economy there. If the oil production does cease to exist and shuts down, I do not know where we would get oil from.

It probably wont change any time soon because the crisis seems to be expanding. Perhaps by the end of the year, things will die down.

It will definitely affect the prices of things like oil to be honest.

You are correct! You wrote, "Seems Obama has failed to provide equipment to Malaki so Iraq has gone to Russia" which has caused more innocent civilians to die.
Obama completely, mismanaged the entire situation. And I voted for him twice.

Casper, thank you for posting the sites for these articles. I gained a lot of information. Better yet I gained more insight.

Your not the only one Allison, he fooled a lot of people and I had high hopes for him based on his rhetoric. He just simply did a 180 as soon as he was in office. Why that was, is anybodies guess.

My take on it is, if Obama fails to supply equipment to Malaki but is arming terrorists, ($500 million sought from Congress to aid Syrian rebels), it seems to me the plan is to fracture Iraq into 3, turn Syria into another Libya, say it is "nothing to do with us" and "we need more surveillance at home to protect people from terrorist attack"

Report is that Iran supplied the planes and helicopters from storage but they currently deny it. Sensible really, trying to avoid any blowback.

Your welcome Allison and thank you too.

I take comfort in little sayings such as "If you understand, Things are just as they are…. If you do not understand, Things are just as they are.".

    I just find it helps

    Best wishes :)
