I must respectfully disagree with that prediction. Facebook is a huge presence on social media. Complaints of people discussing their pages being close down is nothing new. It has happened to me and I still went back and open up another Facebook page. I'm looking at Facebook from a business perspective. For my company this service has been enormously beneficial in me getting exposure from people around the world. Everyday Facebook is getting new signups and businesses. They are not all that consume with irate customers who post their experiences online. I don't see the company becoming like a Myspace in 5 years. Nope. The future of Facebook remains optimistic for the business and especially the stock market. Trust me when I say they are bound to add more features to the site to stay ahead of the competition.
I think Facebook is really expanding since they bought the rights to Oculus Rift. It can be a major source of profit for them and really expands their horizons.
Yeah, I think Oculus will be the first to hit the market and it had the most marketing overall so many more people know about it currently. I really hope Oculus does well and continues to innovate.
Even if some people are leaving and shutting down their Facebook accounts, there are many more people that aren't and stick with Facebook. It's already been ingrained into our social media lives and I'm sure it will still be here for years to come.
That's right. Facebook isn't staying with only social media. Now they have new products such as Oculus which will definitely deliver a huge source of income when it finally officially releases.
Facebook wont go anywhere anytime soon. They will expand more past the social media and will manage to make money a lot of different ways. Stocks are always in demand and investing is always wisely.
Facebook is what it is. a Corporate media product placement information whore. Have you heard of Catchmeonline?
Never heard of Catchmeonline grinch, what's that, another Facebook wannabe? You might call FB a whore, but it's probably the most successful one in the world and best paid as well.
I do not think that Facebook is going to close I do feel there is a rush of newer social media sites. Facebook would probably stay for another five or six years depending on the circumstances. I can hardly imagine the social media world without Facebook, but I could have said the same thing about Myspace. I guess social media would just keep changing form.
I would not call Facebook a complete whore. Facebook has been one of the most used social media sites since I think 2005. I still have my Facebook account, but I just have not been as active like I should. It helped me reconnect with a person I have not seen since high school so that is a huge plus. So I think Facebook has done something good for me.
